[The feed begins to blackness intermingled with muffled grumbles and the sound of fabric shifting against plastic. Thump, thud! Thump, thud, thump! It's a repeating noise that eventually gives way to a much louder version of a gruff and gravely voice.]
Dammit! Ziggy, you'd better answer me, you tin-plated-- Gushie! Tina! Somebody oughta answer me or I'll be kickin' some collective butts until--
[The voice is obscured as a hand reaches into the pocket and grabs up the unfamiliar communication device which appears to be already recording. It picks up an old face with a confused expression that immediately gives way to the anger that had yet to fully dissipate.]
SAAAAAM! ZIGGY!! Somebody answer me! [And then quieter, as he runs a hand down his face:] Real fine joke, if that's what this is...
[Al Calavicci, former astronaut, admiral, government lackey, pretty much former everything, is beginning to think the wonders might never would cease. That is, until he spots something. A quick turn-around later and he's confirmed his suspicions, paled at the mere thought of what could be.]
Wings? Nu-uh, no way, I I can't be... [If wonders do cease, certainly they would end here, post-life, if that's what this is. A chill accompanies the suddenly too-white, normally desert-tanned man. And yet, he doesn't even believe in a life after death, so how can this be anything but a joke? Or, he guesses, at least really bad dream, which he can only attribute to one entity.]
ZIGGY!! God damn it, Ziggy, you'd better open up the Imaging Chamber door right now! This isn't the least bit funny, you humorless pile of wires and-- and ego!!!
