[Trotting around lost in a forest, leaves crunching and twigs snapping beneath the hooves of a peculiar pony. Her shy eyes scan her surroundings, searching anxiously for signs of civilization, or better yet, her friends.

Suddenly! A rustling in the bushes! A sudden sound that startles Fluttershy, causing her to leap away from the source. The cause for the noise emerges, it was just a squirrel. The yellow pegasus calms down and approaches the squirrel to make an attempt to talk to it. Before she could utter a word, the bushy-tailed critter scurries off. She continued her search, and this time, decided to speak up in hopes to find her friends.]

H-Hello? ...Can anypony hear me?

[Luckily, Ami's met a few of the other ponies, so she isn't distracted and she's ready to try to be helpful.]

[On another one of Saleh's routine patrols of the forest, he catches sight of the pink and yellow pegasus up ahead. He approaches silently and carefully, already aware of the pegasus' timid nature. At least in his world, it was why only women could become Pegasus Knights. He stops at a fair distance, but hopefully close enough so she can hear him as he calls out in a gentle voice.]

...Hello?

EEP! Who's that?! Where?!

[The terror-striken Fluttershy franticly looks around for whoever spoke. Seeing nothing, she dives for the nearest bush to hide. Peeking out, she saw a journal. She was so scared earlier that she hadn't noticed it before. Did it really just talk, though? She should ask and see...

Carefully, Fluttershy inched out of the bushes and towards the journal, slowly with one hoof in front of the other.]

...Was that you?

[Ami is instantly apologetic.]

I didn't mean to scare you; I'm sorry about that. On the journal there should be a picture of me. I'm somewhere else, but we're able to speak with each other through the book.

[With a audible gasp, Fluttershy turns and finds herself face-to-face with a creature she's never seen before. He was bigger than she was, and that was intimidating enough.

Was she in his forest? It's certainly rude to enter the home of someone else. She should try talking to him first. Hopefully he won't eat her.]

Um... ...lo.

[This sounds like something Twilight would do. This is definitely something Fluttershy would expect from her unicorn friend. But is Twilight really behind this?

Fluttershy lowered her forebody to the ground, using a hoof to lift the cover of the journal to peek inside.]

...Can you really help me?

I can try. I've been here for awhile, so I can help you find your way. I've met some ponies like you, too. I can try to help you contact them.

[Saleh can sense her fear, so he carefully takes a step forward.]

Are you well? You look lost...

Pardon me... Did you say "pony"?

["Some ponies?" Could this book be talking about her best friends from Ponyville? Needless to say, Fluttershy is a happy pony now.]

Really? Then can you please help me find them? [Then the sudden realization that she's being to pushy came to her.] ...I mean, if it's no trouble to you...

[He takes a step forward, Fluttershy takes a step back. She instinctively hides behind her mane with only enough hair parted for her to peek through.

Fluttershy was hesitant in replying. She wasn't sure whether to put up a brave front and tell him she's okay, or simply be honest and admit she's lost. After a effort to speak, the only thing she managed to do was squeak.]

[Okay...that squeak is kind of worrysome. Saleh frowns with a deep concern.]

...You don't have to be afraid. I won't hurt you, I promise.

Oh...I did. I said "pony."

I've never met a talking pony before.

I don't mind at all. Can you tell me what you see nearby? We need to know where you are first, and start from there.

[A familiar pink head pops out of a nearby tree, grinning from ear to ear.]

Of course I can hear you, Fluttershy! I mean, it's not like it's super noisy or anything here~.

Pinkie!

Oh, thank goodness! I was getting worried I wouldn't see any of my friends again.

[She didn't bother asking why Pinkie was in a tree or how she got there. After all, it's Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy looked around for any others.]

W-Where's Twilight? And Rarity? And all the others?

[A peculiar young girl runs over to Fluttershy the moment she spots her, looking pretty excited. She examines the pony from top to toe before speaking up.]

Look what I found! You're like a monster, but you talk, ya know! Could it be... Are you a young Entelexeia?

[And the appearence of this peculiar girl startles Fluttershy, causing her to back away a few steps.]

A...A Antele-what? No, I'm a pony... A pegasus to be exact.

Pegasus... Pegasus... [She seems to be thinking deeply about this.]

Nope, never heard of that, ya know! Are you a friendly kind of pegasus?

[Fluttershy had little idea how to answer that. If she wasn't friendly...well, she doesn't want to think about one particular time involving a particular Minotaur.]

Um... Yes, of course I'm friendly. I do things together with my pony friends and take care of my animal friends everyday.

Really? That's so amazing! Do you have a name?

[Recieving praise seems to have given Fluttershy a bit more confidence, letting a little smile show.]

...I'm Fluttershy.

[And the girl will smile brightly in return.]

And I'm Patty! It's nice to meet you, ya know!
