Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Y-you're not thinking of putting food in the fountain, are you? [He can see where he's coming from, but... 8|] I was thinking something like... rocks or stones.

Y-Yes, of course! What need would water spirits have for food? Rocks and the like would be much preferred, I think. And there's plenty of that around, making it easy currency between the realms. Shall we gather some?

Sure. [Shinji smiles a little at him, trying to be encouraging. Don't be disappointed, Theodore!] Did you already have a wish in mind?

[You're such a nice boy, Shinji. Your words and smile cheer him right up!] In fact, I do! I came prepared this time. Do you have one as well?

[He shakes his head.]

I've never made a wish like this before. But I can think of something while we gather stones, I guess.

It'll be my first time as well. And that's very well of you, sir, it would be most unwise to give an offering and not have a wish in mind.

[... Speaking from experience, of course. Let's move further towards the forest to look for pretty stones.]

I wouldn't want to waste it. [Even if he's mostly just doing this to be a good sport. Theodore looked like such a kicked puppy earlier. :( But yes, toward the forest they go!] Um, you can just call me Shinji.

...heavily reminds Minato of someone else, which is initially why he approaches. After a minute of watching, though, he's just curious as to what the man is thinking about.]

Making a wish?

It's okay. It's nice to meet you, Theodore. [Shinji pauses abruptly when he spots a nice, round stone near his foot and picks it up. He holds it out to him.] Something like this would work, don't you think?

[... Well, don't you feel familiar, former-honored guest of the Velvet Room. It kind of puts him on edge for a reason he can't exactly explain, but it makes him kind of comforted as well.]

I have one in mind, of course, but the payment is something I've been dwelling on. What is used here instead of money? It seems... odd to me.

[Theodore takes it and inspects the stone, nodding.]

I believe so. Let's find another for you as well, so you have time to think about your wish.

[well then they can just keep going with this mutual odd familiarity for a while... Minato sticks his hands in his pockets.]

You could just wish. The fountain catches more New Feathers than anything else.

[ There's nothing like your first cold beer after being in both prison and the Scariest Mining Town on Earth. Especially when he doesn't have to steal it out of someone's refrigerator. He's in Good Spirits, relaxing a little at the bar counter. He's been super lucky that, with the way things work here, he could just grab some clothes and ditch his numbers.

The prospect of at least a little quiet was good, especially when the draining loneliness of that hellhole was no where to be found among all these people. ]

Absolutely not. It isn't fair to the water spirits of this fountain to simply wish and not give something in return!

[Frowning at you, Minato! Honestly, did you know nothing? This is a simple fact of life.]

[his third wish will be about this oddly familiar feeling he has about the boy.]

[...maybe he shouldn't mess so much with this guy. He seems more serious than Elizabeth, despite the heavy resemblance in other ways.]

All right. [So very thoughtful of him! Shinji starts walking again. It shouldn't be too hard to find another one, but now that he's thinking about it...] Hey, what do you think would make a good wish?

You're very welcome. [He leans into that kiss, still grinning. Even if she knew he would eventually agree all along, he'll take that reward, thank you very much.]

Oh, it can be that hard. Kids will play with anything with bright colors and moving parts. I assume. But I'm usually right when I assume.

[He doesn't exactly have firsthand experience with what kids play with.]

[Theodore looks back at the water, dipping his hand in it unhappily. Seventy-two degrees. Back home, it'd been a payment system. So why not here? Would it not be stronger here with so little city to crowd them out?]

What gracious spirits they are, then! I'm sure they're thankful that people... wish for things, then. To be remembered.

[Why, doesn't that sound solemn. But he straightens up the next moment and lays his hand out to dry. There's something he's got to ask.]

[A good wish... That's certainly something to chew on while Theodore turns over stones to look for an equally nice one.] Something you desire more than anything else, I believe. For myself, it is the safety of a dear friend of mine.
