[No crew around to keep busy with, no ship, but an entire village of inhabitants and potential allies to team up with, not to mention it's...actually relatively safe here, even given the huge technological backdraft she's had to deal with, barring that strange barrier. And then there's all the stuff she can do, if the map isn't lying to her. With a place to keep her senses sharp, and a lot of room to create a new training regime for herself, Shepard's got enough to keep herself sated for the moment.
