[ It'd been hours since they'd seen her, and Vanille had not only grown restless but hadn't been able to sit still. Something was very obviously wrong if Fang wasn't back from her trip out into the woods. She'd never stay gone too long, and especially not when it was getting on in the day. Without someone to watch her back, she knew not to stray too far from safety. Vanille knew she knew these things, and it was what made the worry that much more pressing and, even worse, what made her begin to beat herself up over letting Fang go out alone. She should've known better, and should've known that they should stick together to look out for one another.
Panting, it's starting to get dark when Vanille slows to a stop and spots the figure far ahead of her, slumped and shambling forward in what absolutely has to be pain. As if any of her fatigue had drained from her body, she picks back up, running at full speed, shouting out for the figure still far enough away to be not much else but a blur and a shadow. ]
hellooooooooooooo and sorry for being late! A!
