Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[Luceti is quite the beautiful place. Perhaps not so much as Koriko, but it has its charms that make it more comfy-cozy than the hustling and bustling back home. In a way it's a little like starting her witches training all over again, though writing home to her parents is going to be more than a little difficult.

During the day it's possible to spot Kiki flying around on her deck brush, soaring over shops and even going as high up as the furthest floor of the community buildings. She can be called down if you catch her attention or open a window as she passed by to say hello.

In the evening Kiki can be found without her broom, entering the item shop. She's looking for cleaning supplies. Scrubbing brushes, buckets, mops, soap, you name it. Her new apartment looked filthy so a little sprucing up is definitely in order. It might be possible to spot a black cat following her around the shop and back home. Even if she could no longer talk to Jiji he was still a dear friend, no matter where they might be.]

[Hey, Kiki. Hey, there. Don't be surprised if you find a bald monk suddenly flying - or more accurately gliding - along side you on this summer day.]

[Well that's certainly an interesting sight. It almost reminds her of something Tombo might have put together at some point. Her deck brush wobbles for a moment as she flies a little closer before speaking up.]

Hey there, good day! [It's not everyday back home you find someone else up here!]

[Aang spares a wave. It hasn't been an everyday thing for him either since the time of the air nomads - but here in Luceti, you get used to things like this.]

Hello! Same to you. My name's Aang!

My name's Kiki and I'm a witch. [It's a little difficult to curtsy whilst riding a brush so Kiki settles for bowing her head in response.]

I had no idea that there might be other people who could fly here, It's quite the surprise.

[Seems like she isn't the only one whose talent is flying.]

Nice to meet you, Kiki! A witch, huh? That makes you magic, right? [He's still getting used to other worlds' alternatives to bending.]

This place is full of surprises! But I guess you could say I'm gliding instead of flying. I just use Airbending so that it's like flying!

That's right. Most witches have some sort of magical power, like how I'm using my powers to fly right now. [Though she doesn't need to, Kiki veers left and right a little in the air as a means of showing how mobile she can be on her brush.]

I'm sorry, I'm familiar with what a glider is but I can't say that I know anything about Airbending.

[He glances over, amazed despite the simplicity.]

That's really neat, Kiki! And... that's okay, most other worlds don't know about bending. You could say it's kind of like magic, but for us it's something that's really natural. We can manipulate the elements to do all kinds of things - like with airbending I can move the air around me!

I see. That's really impressive Aang, being able to do all that naturally! My only real skill is flying but you can use airbending for more than just flying, can't you?

[It sounds as though being able to move air around could have lots of useful applications past being able to glide and fly. What can she say, she's curious.]

Gee, thanks! And I can use it for all kinds of things. I can show you some tricks if we land!

Tricks? Ah... Alright, thank you. We can land right away, I've only been looking around and getting used to things for the moment.

[The plaza looks like a good place to stop so Kiki turns to head over in that direction.]

Great, as long as I'm not keeping you from something.

[He follows Kiki to a landing spot.]

No no, not at all! It's just no one has ever offered to show me any tricks before.

[Being so new means she doesn't have to keep up her business or even worry about money, so of course she can spare some time to watch Aang.

Once they've landed Kiki backs off a little to give Aang plenty of room.]

[Aang lands near her and turns his glider back into staff form. He then puts it to the side as he reaches into his shirt for something.]

Now watch closely...

[He holds forward two cupped hands...]

Wow... How are you- That's... That's amazing!

[Can any witch back home manage something like this? It certainly looks more impressive than just being able to fly off or read fortunes, that's for sure.]
