it's time once again for a...test drive meme!
Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!
▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).
Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:
o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.
Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.
Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.
well HEY. 8D

...well, it's not like he has anything better to do. Since he only just found his costume, he lacks in anything particularly useful, so he'll just have to do this the hard way and climb his way up!]
All right, pal, I'll play your game.
no subject
He looks young though. Maybe he's still new. Robin will even throw him an easy one and give him a vocal cue. He throws his voice off to the northwest end of the rooftop, even though he's settled in the shadows on the southern end.]
Your technique needs work. You're probably not training hard enough.

Hey, I'm just getting started!
[It doesn't really sound like anyone he knows... Maybe someone Bruce knows? But he doesn't think about it too hard, because, you know, it's been a few days since he's had a good chase.]

Another birdarang nicks Jason's ankles then, intentionally betraying Robin's true location. This too came with a note: "Sloppy. If you were in Gotham, you'd be dead right now."]
no subject
Seriously rude. 8|
But this person knows the dark, that's obvious enough. ...you know, now that he thinks about it, it's different, but he tries anyway:]
Nightwing? No random's this good.
no subject
Not quite. This goes easier if you did your homework and read the journals.

no subject
So I keep hearing.
no subject
So it's really you? You're a sight for sore eyes! [Even if it's not quite what he was expecting. ...and even if he's just been a pain so far. It's still a relief that there's someone kind of familiar around, at least for now.]
no subject
[Really, Replacement Robin? You're just going to start trusting people right out of the gate? How new are you?]
I think it's fairly obvious that I haven't met you before.
no subject
So what do you want, then? Worried I stole your identity or something? I'm no thief.
no subject
[By the way this is a test. Don't fuck it up.]

no subject
Is that so? Must've smelled terrible.
no subject
Like a zoo! I haven't been there ever since. Sad story, right?
no subject
You're welcome to start saying true things whenever you'd like.
no subject
[Even if he could be sure it was Dick, he didn't expect him to suddenly start caring. Besides, going by everything else that's happened so far, he knows that's not the reason for this.]
no subject
Not yet. Maybe at 10:47.
[If this kid is who he's dressed as, he'll get the reference. 10:47, the elder Waynes' time of death, is the passcode for the grandfather clock batcave entrance. Nobody outside the family should know that
unless Aang has been going around blabbing again.]no subject
Because gosh, why would there be more Robins after him, right.]I left my watch at home. A little too heavy to carry around, and priceless to boot. My grandfather gave it to me, and that's the truth.
no subject
You hungry? I got sandwiches.
no subject
no subject
You're not worried I'm trying to poison you or anything, right? [All things considered, this is a valid concern.]
no subject
[But no, he's not really worried about that! Because he's not sure how much Bruce would brag about someone who poisons people for fun.]
no subject
[Bruce would never allow rooftop snacks. But Bruce is an arrogant heartless jerkface that Robin abandoned forever ago so his opinion doesn't matter.
This sandwich thing it totally happening. He tosses one to Replacement-Robin and works on chewing on a second one for himself. It's turkey and bread with nothing else in it because what is cooking Robin does not bother with that. He also doesn't bother with swallowing before he starts speaking again.]
You found a place to stay yet? I've got this building locked down fairly well already if you need an apartment.
