[He's used to woods and forests and mountains and things. This setting isn't all that strange. What's jarring is the fact he's missing friends and family and...honestly the forest isn't all that familiar either. Plus the wings, the wings are something anyone might question. So a day of exploring is called for! All through the forest, chatting a bit with the animals, maybe climbing a tree if the branches are low enough to reach.
......Near the end of the day, after having found a nice, hefty stick to defend himself with, he'll even try going into the town for a bit. Just out of a suicidal sense of curiosity. Who knows how many humans might be lurking around here, after all.]
