Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Kat | Gravity Rush

[You can catch Kat doing one of three things.

1) She's practicing her gravity powers. How? By walking on walls of course. Her entire body is glowing red and she's just walking on the front side of the school building like it's no big deal.

2) Falling. From the sky, heading down in the direction of one of the village paths. She exhausted her gauge and is now plummeting to the ground. Your character can either try to help her or watch her fall.

If they witness the latter, they'll see that even after falling far from the sky and colliding with the ground hard she slowly pushes herself up without a single scratch. Like falling from such a height barely bruised her.

3) In the clothing store. Making a huge mess of everything. This is the second time Kat has ever been given the chance to wear something other than the outfit she woke up wearing in Heksville. Don't get her wrong it's a nice outfit, but not having the money to buy anything else always bummed her out.

Now that she found a place with free everything, she can't resist putting on several different outfits just for the sake of trying them on. Sorry for leaving clothes thrown about the dressing room area folks.]

[Ralph had come by the school trying to find the brat when he saw this girl just walking on the wall and growing redder than a damaged boss. He stares in disbelief for a moment.]

Wow. I have no idea what your deal is.

[Kat's head swishes to the side and she stares down at the ground. Spotting Ralph isn't hard at all and she seems a little embarrassed. No one back home cared if she used her powers (except the poor people thrown into the air by accident, but its cool)]

My deal? --Well, I can sort of alter my gravity? That's the only way I can put it.

Altering gravity. That's one you don't get every day. Kind of nifty, I admit. And this makes you look like a living Christmas light, or are you always like this?

Living Christmas light?

[She doesn't even know what Christmas is so that part is lost on her, but she knows what a light is. She huffs a little.]

Hey, I don't glow that much! [...Right?] It's just what happens when I do this. I can't help it or anything.

[gonnawreckit]

Yeah, like the kinds that were hangin' around here a few weeks ago. But hey, don't sweat it, kid. We all have our odd glows or odors from time to time.

[...Is this guy for real?]

I guess--!!

[gqueen]

--Ahh!

[And in the middle of her sentence Kat suddenly shifts back into her normal form. As soon as the red glow vanishes Kat suddenly falls from her place on the wall, gravity returning to normal. It's a short fall at least.]

Oooowww...

[Guess she forced the gravity to stay on for too long. Damn time limits.]

[And Ralph quickly strolls on over towards her.]

Whoa! You okay there, kid?

[And there's a big, hammy hand reaching down to help her up.]

[She grumbles a little before taking the big hand--

--big. hand. Her eyes widen against her will. It was hard to see from up on the school building because of her perspective, but this guy is giant. By far the biggest person she's ever seen before.]

Y-Yeah, I'm fine! I just overdid it with "the lights" as you'd say.

Ah, see I bet it'd help if you had a meter for that.

[gqueen]

A meter huh? That would be nice. I just sort of count my own seconds. Maybe I should carry a timer.

[The irony is that she does have a meter. But only the player can see it! Too bad she isn't a 4th wall breaker.]

I know! I guess that'll help, if you don't have a screen to display things for you. Ya gotta know your limits, after all.

[gqueen]

Right! [...Wait, a screen?] Do you have one of these meter things? You sound like you know something about them.

[avaricious]

[It's okay, because Greed is greedy enough to want a few extra outfits too. Though he does notice the mess. huh.]

I take it you can't decide on just one, can you? That's pretty greedy of you.

[He approves.]

Huh?

[She stops while trying on a red dress and looks behind her to see him...and the mess she left. Is he the store owner maybe? She lets out a short nervous laugh at the comment.]

Sorry, I think I got carried away. I didn't mean to leave a mess. There's just so much stuff here!

[Now that she's turned towards him, he can give her an appreciative look over. Not bad. Not bad at all.]

So why settle for just one? Not that I don't like the red dress.

[gqueen]

[...She doesn't know how to feel about this stranger looking at her like that.]

Well, I just want to make sure I take something I like. That's why I'm trying everything on. Is it ok to just take more than one thing?

[She only just arrived in Luceti last night. Figuring out how things work here is still a priority.]

[He's just a normal immortal homunculus stuck in the body of a teenage boy. These sorts of things are inevitable.]

It's more than okay. Everything's free here, if you haven't already read the brochure. In fact, I insist. Feel free to load up on everything you want. What's the point if you don't have a little variety, right?

Oh? Um, alright then. [Still not sure why a stranger is encouraging to take stuff so much. Hm.] Are you the store owner or something?

[avaricious]

What? Owner of this dump? Not a chance. The name's Greed, the Avaricious. Just doing my part to make fellow new feathers feel welcome.

[gqueen]

[...What an odd name. Why would a parent name their child Greed?]

My name is Kat. If you don't own this place, why do you keep asking me too--

[Wait. Wait wait wait. She backs away a step, though doesn't quite get far seeing as the mirror is right behind her.]

Are you checking me out or something?!

[avaricious]

[He doesn't advance on her. In fact, he takes his own half step back. Crossing his arms. If he's coming off as menacing, that's not his intent.]

Well, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like what I saw. But I've got plenty of other reasons to be here.

[gqueen]

[She glares at him for a few moments before and lets a huff of air out her nose.]

Then why are you telling me to take all the clothes I want? What does it matter to you?

[avaricious]

[He chuckles and crosses his arms.]

Because they're something you desire. You're inclined to think you can only have one. But why not all of them? It doesn't matter that much to me. But I am Greed. A little enabling is inevitable.
