[In time it may very well prove to be so. That taking Elizabeth's powers away from her will make her less than what she was in Booker's eye. But there was far, far too much about Columbia that he is grateful to remember (after learning about how he'd made up a whole new life for himself after stepping through the tear...he's happy he can remember.) and apart of that is the instinctual fear Elizabeth put into him.
Booker's just glad it isn't enough to change how he acts around her - he doesn't know much about her life in the tower but he does know that she must have been treated like she could blow any second on the rare occasion she did get some human interaction.
Her smile is strained and that's...better than he was hoping for.
What she says though, that...strangles a laugh out of him. It's enough to get him to ignore the bottle she'd set back in front of him.]
Oh? What'd you have in mind?
[He could trust Elizabeth to give him something to do. It was the gaps he had trouble filling.]
