Chris McShell | Zombies, Run!

A)

[ Chris isn't really sure how this is even possible. He remembered getting bit. He remembered dying too. He remembered his last words in that final gasp of breath to his daughter, whom he still had no idea if she was alive if she would ever get that letter left for her, and his words still rung in his ears. It was disconcerting and disorienting to awaken like he had.

He's never been a loud or boisterous man but Abel wasn't such a quiet place either, and the silence here was unnerving to be honest. Abel Township always had some noise going on to alert you to the living occupants inside its walls. Nothing like the dead silence that surrounded you when you went past those secure walls. It was...alarming and disturbing in someways at how quiet it was here. Maybe this was all a dream, but scientifically speaking one's dreams are not as detailed as this. Bits and pieces maybe, but never able to count the blades of grass on the ground or how many plants were flowering. Maybe he was still lying on that bed in the comms room dying. He'll shudder inwardly as he flexes the wings on his back. Scientifically speaking this wasn't really possible either, then again none of it was, but he was having a hard enough time grasping the fact that he was alive at all. He wasn't into to those miracles or occult type of deals, the world back home had taken that right out of him. Zombie movies and those other horrible shows that had happy endings were just...fake. None of it was real, so why should this be? Back at home his survival was based on just plain, simple, science and math and this? This wasn't that at all. He looks a little bit lost as he roams the town, always on edge and guard as he makes his way through the plaza.

He's a bit jumpy but being bit by a zom and reliving that as your last moment on earth would make anyone jumpy. ]

B)

[ One thing that he did miss back home was the hot showers and the good food. Luceti is treating him well, well enough as one could expect in a bubble. But he can't complain. Perhaps you can catch him practicing his methods and complying data on a certain way for killing zombies in the battledome. Just because there weren't any zoms here didn't mean there never would be. Hell back home there weren't any and look at it now! Afterwards he'll make his way towards the library to pick up some books or other things to read. The lack of material back home has left something to be desired in him, and reading was something he could clear his mind with. ]
