[There was a faint twitch as Simon almost reacted to that stumble, because adjusting to Eugene having two legs was going to take his brain some time to process. He was thrilled for the guy, but it didn't quite diminish the instinctive momentary panic of seeing him wobble.]

Thanks. I do try my best. [He flashed Eugene a wide grin and a quick wink as he slowed his pace just a bit all the same.] So where's Jackie-boy this morning? Having a lazy one?
