Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Storm's a regular visitor of the Dome. She's here nearly every day, with students and without. She's noticed, however, that for all that she and Logan try to establish a routine, there are times that they just can't predict how full the Dome will be. A lot of Luceti's residents are fighters in their own right and want to use the chambers for training of their own.

She spent most of her waiting time at the Observation Deck, watching the girl currently occupying the chamber she was next in line for with a measure of curiosity. That was a lot of styles to go through. And when Kate finally emerges, Ororo's waiting by the door, impressed.]

I saw you from upstairs. You're very good.

[She recognizes the woman. You can't be a part of the New York hero scene, let alone friends with Billy and Teddy, without being capable of recognizing some of the most prominent mutants out there. And as she wipes the sweat off of her brow with the back of forearm, she flashes Storm a brief smile.

It's just a touch more humble than normal.]

[ Oblivious to Kate's recognition of her, Ororo merely smiles back. Warm and kind and open. ]

I've known a lot of fighters, especially since coming to Luceti, and many of them your age... But so few who can claim so many styles as you can. It's impressive.

[She hasn't had nearly enough training in her own opinion. But being a superhero is awesome. And though she'll probably never tell him, Kate's grateful to Clint for getting her back in the biz.

But her smile widens.] I was the token norm in a group of superpowered heroes. It's the sort of thing that makes you keep up with these kinds of skills.

[And that? Is by far the easier explanation to give.]

[ Oh, well, Ororo's having some trouble with some of your terms, there Kate. ]

The "token norm"? And what do you mean by that?

No superpowers. [Though, really, she wouldn't exactly mind having any.] Kind of like the original Hawkeye? Working with a team of superheros despite lacking any sort of powers ourselves?

[ The "original" Hawkeye... Well, Ororo knew a Hawkeye, at least. So she nods. ]

I see.

Well, I am of the belief that heroes do not need special abilities to be considered heroes. ... Though I imagine having them would make the lifestyle a little easier. [ and give you a better survival rate, really. superheroing isn't a walk in the park. ]
