Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Discreetly, he gives Gaara the once over. Even knowing more often than not people are healed of life-threatening injuries - or death - before being dumped in Luceti, all of the Kage had been MIA last he knew.

[Birdy had just been preparing to dig into a delicious bowl of char siu ramen at Seventh Heaven when Colette comes crashing through a nearby wall. He nearly drops his chopsticks in surprise.]

[Haru shrugs his shirt on -- the kind that's loose fitting and easy to fit his wings through... and also easy to take off for impromptu swimming like today -- before putting on his hooded jacket.

I was walking back before, wasn't I? But he keeps that annoyed thought in his head, and keeps his expression impassive.]

[It's not far. Pants go on over his swimming jammers, yes. Haru straightens and looks down at his rescuer and retriever of stray laundry, his next words curt.]

I can make it back on my own.

[So there's no need to worry; he can take care of himself, really. Bears don't count.]

"I'm fine." She groaned and reached into her coat to grab a roll of bandages to start trying to wrap them herself. It was awkward, but not impossible. And she'd be damned if she'd ask him for help.

I've learned this is a different world and there's not been any discovered means of return. [He's really only spoken to people who he can glean tidbits here and there from. But Shikamaru is the type of person who can probably provide more.]

You can fill me in on the details in between. [And while he should have probably phrased that as a request rather than an order, he's not the type to stumble over his own words or bother himself with politeness.]

[He certainly doesn't have enough experience here to comment on that, and is still surprised Shikamaru seems too...several comments now telling him the man's been here far longer than him, and that doesn't exactly settle well with him.

So he just quietly shuffles out the door after Shikamaru, walking along side him when there's enough room to do so.]

[ He rolls his neck back with a few muted pops, rolls his shoulders as well, breathes in, and sighs a long plume of steam, tugs his scarf down because suddenly jumping around has his heart rate up a little and now he feels a bit warmer. This is an undesirable conversation track.

Lea puts on his best cocky grin, puffs his chest out and points to himself with a thumb. ] Can't believe I haven't introduced myself yet. The name's Lea. [ He leans in and taps his temple with one finger, an old and practiced gesture. ] Got it memorized?

[Bright red hair, (more of a) fashion sense, no eyebrows... definitely nothing like Rock Lee.]

[ Is that a note of...defensiveness? Lea's face is just a touch redder than it was from the cold, and one hand goes to touch lightly on a spot high on his cheekbone, unconsciously. ]
