Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

That's right. They don't have a monetary system in place here, and most of everything here is self-replenishing. [You could take all of the meat or vegetables from the market, and they might all be replaced by tomorrow at the latest.] It's very convenient.

[That aside--] I must say, it's actually a surprising taste to find you here as well! Are you and your Pokemon alright?

[ There is a gleam in Ash's eyes when Cilan reassures him that he can pretty much take whatever and it'll be okay. He never has to go hungry!

..... he should probably reply to Cilan instead of just rushing into the store and taking all the food he can carry huh. He nods his head]

Yeah, we're fine! Though I only have Pikachu and Charizard with me. What 'bout you and your Pokemon?

[Just Pikachu and...Charizard? Huh. I really should canon update him at some point.]

Pansage, Crustle, and Stunfisk are all present and accounted for. [He doesn't mind Ash rushing into the store, he'll just follow right along with him. He might even carry something if Ash needs an extra set of hands.] My Pokemon and I have managed to take care of things well enough during our stay here so far.

[ Yep. Just those two. Because it would be too hard to choose which Unova Pokemon come with ]

Really? That's great! [ Though only two of his Pokemon are here weird. Ash looks at Cilan with slight confusion as he also slowly inches his way into the store ] Huh? How long have you been here?

[cilantro]

[...There's actually an awkward beat from Cilan's side for a second there.] Quite a while, to be honest.

[On one hand, he doesn't want to alarm Ash with just how long we've been stuck here, but on the other hand he doesn't like lying to his friends. Decisions, decisions...]

Oh... [ He's trying to figure this out because he just saw you a few moments ago so how can you have been here for 'a while'.

Hey what kind of bread should I get.

[ Forget this thinking he's hungry he'll try again after he eats. ]

[Oh, that actually gets a laugh--we can certainly delay that potentially awkward explanation to deal with hunger first.]

Well, you've got a good variety to choose from here! There's what's considered the classics by some such as white or wheat bread, but they also have sweet buns and curry bread that are in good taste too! [The bakery here is very good, you can't go wrong with most of the selections offered.] Is there a particular flavor you're in the mood for?

[ Ash thinks very hard about this (because hey this is food he has to ok!) as he listens to Cilan. What kind of flavor is he in the mood for?

Well any really. But that isn't going to narrow down any choices. ]

Uhh... something sweet! [ like those sweet buns he's just going to grab a couple of those.... ]

Excellent choice; those ones you've picked out there are delectable! [He'll have to consider taking one or two for himself and Iris--oh, speaking of which...] Iris is here somewhere as well, so if you'd like, I could show you where we've been staying as well as any other places here to be acquainted with?

[Ash is more than welcome to stay with them, obviously, but there's also other shops or the Battle Dome that Ash might be interested in too. As for Iris, she's either at the house (possibly wearing winter gear now that it's getting close to the end of November) or out and about somewhere.]

[ Ash is just piling on the bread trying to take as much as he could. He even gives two to Pikachu to carry. He does pause his bread picking once he hears about Iris and looks at Cilan. ]

Iris is here too?! [ Good thing he didn't decide to put a piece of bread in his mouth yet. He nods his head. ]

Yeah! I wanna see where you've been staying and what else this place has!

[ Though there is still that nagging feeling of how Cilan has been here a "while" although he's seen him so recently his excitement over everything else is more important right now. ]

[And Cilan's excited over getting to see his friend Ash again, enough to not want to ruin a good mood with "By the way, we might be stuck here in this place for months or even years", so--]

Great! Follow me, and I'll show you everything they have to offer here! It's exploring time~! [...At this rate Iris will be right when she said we're adding "tour guide" to our list of skills, but never mind that, he'll start with pointing out the stuff right here once they step outside.] The plaza here is where they have shops for selling food, clothing, or other items. This includes the bakery of course, as well as a library and a clinic in addition to other establishments. [Unfortunately the clinic isn't quite like a Pokemon Center since they are likely more used to people getting hurt here, but it's better than nothing?]

[ After managing to take one more piece of bread he follows Cilan carefully. After all he has to make sure that none of his bread falls over! He starts munching on one while his friend is talking with Pikachu munching on one himself.

Luckily he swallows before he decides to speak up. ]

Is everything free here? [ Since Cilan said the food was free. But was the clothing and everything else free as well? ]

definitely no ulterior reason for him to be here nope

[You turn your back for one minute and there's a weirdo colonel looking ready to poke and prod at your Pikachu.]

My, it's certainly a fascinating creature.

[ Ash jumps a little because he did not expect that. Meanwhile Pikachu is giving you a uncomfortable look. ]

Huh? Are ya talkin' about Pikachu here?

If that's what you call this miscolored Cheagle. [He glances towards Ash with a smirk.] At first glance, it looks like it must have a particularly unique anatomy.

You're sorely lacking in education. [As if this boy could be expected to know everything about his world's animals. Jade shrugs.] Not to mention manners. However, I'm still willing to study this so-called Pikachu.

[ He gives you a pout. He's has manners thank you! But he doesn't say anything about that because instead he gives you a quizzical look soon after. ]

Eh? What d'ya want t' know about Pikachu?

[ Pikachu is eyeing you wearily. He doesn't like the idea of being studied in any way, shape, or form. ]

Mm, just about. Like the food, the clothing and items in the shops here are free as well. There isn't really a monetary system in place here like what we have back in Unova.

[There just doesn't seem to be a point in having money around here, since the food replenishes itself, as well as some of the basic items.] Some of the clothes in one of the clothing shops actually belongs to other residents who haven't claimed them yet, but there's another shop that makes their own clothing to offer. ["All Passions", we believe it's called. The same goes for one of the item shops--if you lost your bag upon arrival, it would probably be sitting in there.]

[ Lea just watches her throw the first knife, have another one out as quick as anything. He knows that tone of voice, the need to have something in your hands. Kid's been through a war. Terrible things happen in a war.

He only offers a wry grin. ]

Quite a lot, I'm afraid. [He sighs and adjusts his glasses.] The details of its anatomy, its natural habitat, its unique attributes, its diet, expected life space... It's all very basic information.

[ He doesn't have to go hungry! This is like the best thing ever okay because then that means less complaining from him that he is hungry.

He tilts his head a little at the clothing info. ]

So y' saying that some of my clothes could be in that shop? [ That's weird ]

[ .... Anatomy? What? Pikachu looks like a Pikachu what do you want him to say. But he can try and answer some of these questions.

Uhhhh... Pikachu normally live in forests. They like pokemon food, fruit, and other things [ Like this Pikachu here is fond of ketchup ] and Pikachu can live in a Pokeball like other Pokemon but Pikachu doesn't like Pokeballs so he's always here by my side. [ Does that even answer the life space question?

It's possible. The same could also be said for the item shop over there--if you were separated from your bags or any possessions you might have had on your person before you arrived here, they might be found there. [He indicates the shop in particular for that, as well as the clothing shop that he mentioned before.] Do you want to go take a look?

So my bag might be there? [ he didn't arrive with it. Only himself, Pikachu, and Charizard. So if Cilan is right his bag could be there. ] Yeah, let's go take a look!
