[ Natalia wasn't very pleased with this turn of events. With something of great importance just about to happen back home she can't just stay here and not participate. She wanted to get home and as soon as possible.

If it was even possible. She's starting to realize that this isn't even Auldraunt she's on anymore. She's never seen a village like this before in her travels. And while she's aware that there is still a lot to learn about her country it just ... doesn't seem like Kimlasca. Nor does it seem like Malkuth.

The fact that she has little wings also points to this not being Auldraunt.

She's been carrying the journal around and eventually she had settled down somewhere and opened it. This wasn't... a journal she's ever seen before. But it seems to be come sort of communication device. It takes a moment but eventually she turns on the audio. ]

Greetings. I am Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear and, if I may, ask if someone could explain where I am. And if there is any way to go back to where I am from I would be enlightened to hear. Any other information, such as why I have wings, I would also wish to know.

[ Natalia finds herself walking more around Luceti and trying to get a firmer grasp of where she is after her little broadcast. So feel free to find her anywhere around town while she tries to get her bearings on the situation. It's a bit chilly outside and she starts to shiver after a while but she's toughing it out. She's already seemingly been forced to give into the fact that she's not where she should be. She doesn't want to give in to the cold without finding out where she is first as well. ]

[ She's gotten the idea that she might not even be on Auldraunt by now but that leaves the question of exactly where are they if it's not. ]

This place we're in is called Luceti. It's an enclosure run by an organization called the Malnosso, who have been in this world far longer than anyone in the village has.

We've been told we're in here for our own safety, though I still wouldn't consider them very benevolent.

[He does well to mask the uncharacteristic bitterness he's come to use when speaking about the Malnosso.]

And we are to simply oblige? I don't see how taking us from where we're from and placing us here is for our safety!

I'm afraid it's not that simple. Although it's true that the Malnosso are the ones holding us captive, they weren't the ones responsible for bringing us into this world. Whatever force brought us here is the very same one that brought the Malnosso here as well. And unfortunately, no one seems to know just what that force is...

[One of many mysteries surrounding this world, as it were.]

The Malnosso have been trapped in this world far longer than anyone currently in Luceti. Our oldest residents have been here for at least 5 years. And I myself have been here for-- for nearly 2 years now. [He catches himself before saying that in Luceti-equivalent years. Two years on Auldrant were over 4 here in Luceti.]

So whomever the Malnosso are they aren't the one who brought us here to hold us captive in the first place ...

[ That's pretty concerning. And what's more concerning is how long some people have been here and are still here. ]

For two years ... [ Well they would explain why he looks different. But she doesn't enjoy the thought of being here for that long. But she doesn't feel like it's right to say that in front of Ion specifically. ]

[He nods. Though it's a sentiment he doesn't quite share, he knows all too well that most people would probably prefer to be sent back home as soon as possible.]

But not everyone stays for the same amount of time. People are always coming and going, and sometimes they don't even remember being here in the past when they return. [Which seems to be the case for Natalia herself, though Ion isn't likely to mention something like that off the bat -- it's probably one of the most disorientating things about this place.]

And I've heard people say time doesn't pass in our own worlds so long as we're still in Luceti, so you shouldn't have to worry about missing whatever it was you were doing before you woke up here.
