The second generation hero arrives!

Man, is this place big.

[It seems a newbie has arrived within Luceti's enclosure, flying with ease several dozen meters above the forest floor. He's already found his wings, feeling the slightly-sore appendages ruffling in the breeze as he picks up speed, trying to see or sense anyone or anything familiar. There are a few power signatures he recognizes as people he knows, and flying towards them seems like the smartest thing to do. But that doesn't mean he won't be looking below at the people, or animals, that might be down there.

This place has a different feel from Earth, but it doesn't feel like Namek either. Just where has he ended up, and why?

... Maybe he should prioritize clothes, though. The power signatures don't feel like they're in peril, and even if it seems like it's spring here it still feels too cold to be flying around in nothing but these white pants. So he'll land in the town square once he spots the buildings, looking around for anything that seems like it might have clothes. He'll have to explain that he doesn't have any money though...]

Oh cool, I think it's working. [There's a teenage boy with black hair on the screen, and he pulls back to clear his throat while he prepares to speak once he's sure that the feed is on. What someone might notice is the odd costume he's wearing, but he doesn't seem too bothered by it as he gets ready.

If someone asks, he can brush it off as cosplay... They'd believe Saiyaman is popular enough for that, right?]

Hey, everyone! I've heard that these guys called the Malnosso are keeping us in this place called Luceti... Is there a library or book store or something where I could look up more information on them? You know, so I can learn more. Or maybe if you could tell me where there's a big open space to train too, somewhere where there isn't a lot of wildlife and no people around to bother with it.

[His stomach growls rather loudly, prompting a flush from the boy as he makes to rub the back of his head.]

Maybe a place where a guy can get something to eat too? That'd be great. Thanks a lot for your time.

[So, he knew Gohan was here from the minute the boy had taken to the air, because that energy signature was impossible to mistake, especially one like Gohan's. However, he doesn't go out to greet the boy, nor help him. He'd figure it out, it wasn't difficult. It's not until later that Vegeta goes to find Gohan because he has business with him now that he's settled in.

Finding him at [home/shop/food place/insert location here/etc], he's made sure to suppress his energy now, coming up behind Gohan. He doesn't know how old Gohan is, but there's one thing he knows for certain-]

Still slacking, I see.

Vegeta! Hey! [He takes the comment with a grain of salt, smiling for the elder as he nods to him. It's the library as it happens to be, and there are two stacks of books on either side of Gohan as he has one open in front of him. Don't mind that he still hasn't found clothing aside from the costume either, there's really no point as long as he keeps it clean. That and he hasn't really been there for that long yet, any more than a day and he'd definitely be on the hunt for different clothes.

Still, his smile fades a little as he ends up trying to strike a less than casual conversation with the once-adversary before him.] I guess this place managed to get you too, huh? I thought I sensed you, but I didn't want to believe that you were actually kidnapped too.

[~~He's trying to ignore that awful costume~~ He glances at the piles of books. Not surprising, but still, oh so very nerdy. He doesn't really have an answer to Gohan's statement, but rather, a question of his own-]

What is it that you hope to find in all these books? There's far more important things to do than wasting time reading.

[Before she even goes to answer, Karis is just going to stare at that costume. She's not sure whether to laugh or facepalm. Or both. It ends up being both.

After a few minutes she finally regains enough composure to answer.] You can try the battle dome if you want to train, and there's the Seventh Heaven restaurant you can go to for food.

I thought I'd get as much information as possible about this world, and about the people keeping us here. This isn't like fighting Cell as far as I can tell, we need to know more before we jump into the fight.

[Thankfully Gohan is blissfully unaware of how he's being mocked, instead just listening intently and letting a nervous smile crack into his tone.]

Uh... And what if I didn't wake up with any money? I mean, is there a way to work off the tab there?

[He moves to Gohan's side, takes the cover of the book he's reading and slams it shut as hard as he can without breaking the desk, without warning.]

You can read once you've finished training for the day. But by the time you're done you're not going to want to move an inch.

As far as I know, no one here wakes up with any sort of money on them. Not a single credit, gold coin, or those rectangular slips of paper. [Why must humans have such a weird currency.]

But that's nothing to worry about, all essentials are free anyway. So you can just pig out all you want at the restaurant, and I would suggest taking full advantage of that if you can't cook for yourself.

[Late for school again, dangit! Sakura blitzes through the town square with a hunk of toast hanging out of her mouth, eating it with no hands as she zips along, focused on the distant schoolhouse. Which naturally means the seventeen year old World Warrior accidentally plows right into Gohan at Mach-Speed Kasugano and sends both of them sprawling in a heap!]

[Not as vigilant as Vegeta, she hadn't noticed the new energy signature upon his introduction into the village. In fact, it isn't until she's loitering around the town square when he catches her attention. That spiky hair-do and his gait and there's just something about this person that reeks of the familiar... it's enough to stop her in her tracks, hands falling limply to her sides as she takes a good long stare. Without a doubt he must be her-]

--Papa!!

[This shortie is suddenly hurtling towards him, ready to jump into his arms or tackle him from behind or something equally as childish. But at the moment she doesn't care because it's her Papa and he's here, living and breathing in Luceti.]

[Hey--! He sighs, frowning at the prince before he straightens where he's sitting and makes to take the book out from under his palm.]

Force isn't going to solve everything, Vegeta. I can train in an hour or two, but if I just jump in head first it won't end well - especially if these malnosso guys are as powerful as these books are implying.

Wait, you're saying the food is free?

[He wants to make sure he's not mishearing this, because if it's like that well...]

[He turns his mouth up as Gohan takes the book out from underneath his palm. If they boy was going to be like that, then fine.

He raises his finger, pointing at it and fires a little beam at the book, with the intent on turning it to ash.]

WOAH! [Naturally, Gohan is a very very strong warrior. Probably the strongest on Earth. Unfortunately, even his strength and extensive martial arts training doesn't protect him from losing his balance and being crashed into.

So he's definitely in a pile on the ground, groaning a bit before he notices the leg of someone else in his face. And that's about when he shoots up and makes to help her up.]

Oh man, I'm sorry! Are you okay, miss?

[Huh? He's about to ask who 'papa' is before he's tackled, yelping from the strong grip before he looks down to see a little girl. What in the--]

H-Hey, that's kind of dangerous! You shouldn't tackle someone like that while they're flying! [It'd be one thing if it was Goten but seeing a little girl flying like this and tackling him --

Wait, flying? She's flying. Uh... Excuse him for staring Pan, he's not sure of what to think of this.]

Hey! [Aw, he wasn't done with that! He gives Vegeta just a little glare before he gets up, obviously displeased by the loss of his reading material.]

What's the big idea? Training your brain's important too, you know.

[Sakura mumbles something about license plates and buses while trying to disentangle herself from whatever she'd crashed into. She wasn't really a weakling herself, which is why it'd hurt so much when she'd slammed full-tilt into the guy who was offering her a hand up.]

Yeah...I think so. How about you?

[She ignores the hand, and hops up on her own. Ryu-san wouldn't like it if she didn't take every little chance to practice, after all.]

I'm all right. Uhm, were you in a hurry to get somewhere?

[He's a little impressed that she does that, blinking a bit. Maybe this girl is a little like Videl, except less nosey... Who knew. Girls were still kind of weird anyway, but at least it seems like she didn't hurt herself. How fast was she going anyway, though? It actually hurt quite a bit when he got bowled over...]

[She looks down at her toast turned ant-food, and then back up at him, replaying events in her head. She'd been running to school, but then, since it was totally optional...and she had no breakfast now...she's already thinking of skipping. It's not like math was super important here, anyway. AND she was supposed to be graduating back home.

And she was hungry.]

Nah. Nowhere important right now.

[She eyes Seventh Heaven and shrugs, hitching up her bright red backpack. It still hasn't quite dawned on her that he'd landed in front of her. Like. Flying landed. But it will.]

Were you looking for something, dude?

Ah, yeah, I was looking for a place where I could get some clothes - though I'd have to explain to the shop keeper that I wouldn't be able to pay for them right away, I'd need to earn some money for it first. You know where I could look?

[Yeah that's a little embarrassing to admit, but he's not going to steal from them! Still, he's cold wearing nothing but a pair of pants, even if the sun is helping a bit.]

[She grins at that, realizing that yeah...he's new.]

Oh! Well, that's no problem. There's no money here, at all. So you can take whatever you want. C'mon, I'll show you where you can get a shirt and some grub.

[And as she keeps thinking, she can't help but feel there was something off about how he'd just appeared in front of her...]

That's right! Along with a bunch of other stuff as well.

[Gohan, no. It's bad enough that there's more than one Saiyan mouth to feed.]

You can do that on your own time. [If Gohan only knew that Vegeta actually read here. He even read the guide, after a time.]

There's far more important work to be done, and as far as I'm concerned, hands-on experience is the best teacher.

[She frees him from her grip, looking slightly abashed. No matter what age they are, it seems being scolded by parents is something one cannot become entirely immune to.]

Sorry. [Even though she's probably done this a million times in the past already. :|] I wasn't sure if you'd ever turn up!

[Even Trunks and Bulla's parents were here! So forgive her if she's glad to finally see him. Although... that... doesn't explain why her Papa is staring at her like she sprouted a second head or a tail or something. Maybe she's grown taller since he's last seen her?]

Wait, they just give things away for free? Really? [Woah, that's new. She's not just pulling his leg, is he? Because if he can get food and good clothing without having to worry about a tab...]
