Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

I am telling you, I need a gun! I was told if I had a weapon I could probably get it here. So where the fuck is my rifle?

...What do you mean you don't have a sniper rifle here?! What about a pistol? Anything that looks military grade, maybe has the letters 'UNSC' stamped on them? Oh come on! I can't not be armed!

[Nightclub? Nightclub. At least this place has the decency to have bars and nightclubs. Church is not about to suggest that this place isn't so bad (even if it isn't, compared to, say, Blood Gulch, or anywhere near any Freelancers), but hot damn is he all about chilling out and maybe getting it on with a few winged ladies.

Please do not let him near a microphone. You will regret it, and so will he.]

[Souji was one aisle over, here to pick up another set of paints, when the argument floated over. It didn't take long for the samurai to poke his head around the corner, watching the armored man (was it a man? it sounded like a man) argue to no avail.]

You could try a knife.

A knife?

[Okay, so faces can't really be discerned through the helmet visor, but Souji is still going to be able to get the impression of an incredulous stare.] A knife. Okay, look, if I was trained in knives, I would ask for a fucking knife. But I'm not. I want. My weapon.

[He's not exactly trained in sniper rifles either, but that is so not at all the point.] That's not to say I can't teach myself knives. Knife-throwing is pretty impressive. But it's not my thing. My gun is my thing. ~~[Insert "gun" and "thing" innuendos here.]~~

Weeeeell, it's just that it doesn't seem like you'll be getting your weapon any time soon, so perhaps diversifying might be good for you.

In fact, you could even make knife-throwing your thing and have two things. Wouldn't that be more impressive?

[He's about to argue. He's so close to arguing. But:] You make a compelling point. I should totally learn knife throwing. Haha, I'll be as awesome as a Freelancer in no time.

Although I am pretty used to guns. So maaaaaybe I should just sample a little bit of everything. Just to be safe. [Sample all the guns, he means. Or just...weaponry. Diversify!]

[Souji finally came out from peeking around the corner of the aisle and padded over to where the big armored angry man was. He wasn't so angry anymore, it seemed, although one couldn't tell when his face comprised of a piece of curved glass.]

You could always commission from the smithy, although finding bullets might be difficult. I've heard the gun users here complain about that a lot. They usually go to the Battle Dome in the end.
