Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for music? Try playing DJ at HQ, the new nightclub! Don't have one? Just dance your butt off.
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

At least Aang hadn't really grown up any.

Oh. Well that makes sense.

[Stupid timelines being all weird in Luceti; despite literally talking to a great nice that's only a handful of years younger than him, he quite surprisingly forgot that the whole time continuum was entirely strange. Still, it was weird to even think of friendly spirits since they honestly never came across all that many.]

Well, the first spirit we met was this weird panda spirit! Was his name Hei Bai? I don't remember, but the important thing was that he was like twenty feet tall and had six legs and was ransacking the city we met him in. Aang went out to face it to try to calm it down, but the panda spirit wasn't eager to be calm. Seeing that Aang was in trouble, I went out to help him fight it, but... [Oh yeah... this was one of those embarrassing stories.] ...right, the panda grabbed me and ran off into the Spirit World. I... kind of don't remember what happened after that, but eventually Aang managed to make everything okay, and then next thing I remembered, I was back.

[Sokka doesn't make any sort of move to stop Jinora; with Sugarfoot, she should be okay. But he does give a small warning.]

Just make sure Sugarfoot can see you and you'll be fine. Horses don't like getting spooked, so it's best to make sure she knows your there when you pet her.

As far as the other horses, well, most aren't that picky about who rides them. Some of them are faster than others; some of them like being faster than others. Out of the ones we have here, there's only one of two types: really nice and friendly, or grouchy and picky.

[I mean, they are horses. They don't have complex personalities the likes of which Sokka would ever pick up on.]

That's right! [He claps a fist against his palm encouragingly.] If you'd like, I could introduce you sometime! Perhaps you could judge our cook-off!

[Not that that he's exactly a model of good fashion himself. But he finally turns to face her and almost does a double take. He almost thinks he's looking at Kitty - but something, or a combination of smaller things... they seem so different.]

It's true that this place had messed with him a lot. For over two years now. But Aang definitely is still someone who endures through all the pain and tries to move on to having fun again.

"Maybe not completely sure. But it's a start! Come on Toph, we can have lots of fun here!"

That's how long ago that the first Avatar separated the humans and the spirits so there wasn't a need for humans to live on the backs of lion turtles anymore.

Wow, that's really fascinating! You think the lion turtles got lonely because of that?

[There are still some unfriendly spirits - like Wan Shi Tong and Vaatu. The years have not made the Great Owl Spirit any nicer, nor has he forgotten the last time humans were in his library.

But Jinora listens eagerly, only partially paying attention to Sugarfoot. Sokka's is more interesting than the strange animal. As his story continues on, her eyes widen in amazement. Some of the smaller details just aren't in the journals.]

Why was he ransacking the city, Uncle Sokka? [Don't worry she isn't the kind to poke fun at the embarrassing stuff. Unless it's his love life.

At his advice she finally turns most of attention over to the horse. Even if she isn't nearly as big as Oogi, an accident could still hurt. Jinora lifts her hand so Sugarfoot can sniff and once they acquainted she stands next to her to pet her neck.]

Have you seen a lot of the animals that live on this world? Grandpa said he'd take me to find them all.

You got that right. I mean, did you see what we arrived in? [ She can't help but chuckle a bit. ] Like who wears white dresses like that anymore.

[Gosh, grandpa thinks her facts are fascinating. She's not sure when she'll get to used to that feeling.] Well, that's what Korra told me.

[Jinora has to think about this seriously.] No. I think that where ever they are, they're watching over us so they're never really alone.

[At least, that's how she always felt about grandpa.]

[Sokka is currently in the process of building a sand sculpture that, even if Toph could see clearly with her earthbending, she still probably wouldn't be able to identify it. But that said, Sokka casts a look Toph's direction.]

You know, Toph, you should relax a bit like the rest of us, Toph. There's absolutely nothing out there! And if there was, we'd know it's coming because we can see for miles.

...And Toph being Toph, meaning a troll, she flailed her arms at him dramatically.

"Maybe you can, but there's not nearly enough earth for me to enjoy myself."

But also being Toph, she kicked a piece of rock at him.

[It just so happens that there was a spirit Sokka met that had a lot to do with his love life! He just hasn't mentioned it yet!]

It had to do with something the Fire Nation had done to the forest while they were occupying the Earth Kingdom. They had burned an entire forest down, and that panda spirit was the guardian of the forest or something like that. [Sokka is clearly not the expert on spirits.]

I've seen a few of them. [He chuckles for a bit.] Actually in truth, I kind of panicked when I found out that the animals here can talk, even if it is just the result of the weird magic that allows us to understand everyone here despite the fact that some of us speak different languages.

Most of the little critters I've found are kinda similar to ones we have, except everyone else says that our animals are like taking two different animals and combining them together. That still is a weird concept to me, really.
