Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.

▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Oh, right! [ She'd gotten so caught up in enjoying herself, she completely forgot about the victory cake! ] Will you have a slice with me, Lee?

Not if I'm deciding, as the victor, to share it with you!

Rapunzel-san... That- that would be too generous!

[He stops for a moment. And then he smirks as he raises a hand in challenge.]

Yes. Consider this to be... Your bonus challenge!

[gleamed]

[ She blinks and straightens up and puts her hands on her hips and. ]

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

[ At which point she will rustle up her hair like a horse wrangler and ties a lasso.

RUN WHILE YOU CAN, ROCK LEE. ]

[Rock Lee barks with boyish laughter.]

THEN LET IT BEGIN!

[Gai-Sensei didn't train no fool! He keep his eyes on that lasso, ready to pull off a quick dodge!]

[ And Rapunzel lets that lasso fly, narrowly missing him. But that's okay - she slides back over the counter and fishes out a long, thin rolling pin with which to fight.

Rock Lee, feeling spirited after dodging her hair, bobs from foot to foot, ready to face Rapunzel's next move. He'll see your rolling pin and raise you... his own fists!]

[ She jumps back over the counter and races towards him. It's...not the most tactful approach, but he better be ready for that rolling pin to come swinging at him! ]

[dissonates]

[He shrugs off her apology; it's something to do, and in this place that's nice, on occasion. Even little jobs here and there can stir up the status quo, and... well, it's not like he cares for a many people in the village. This is kind of a special case.]

I'm just here for some bread, for the bar. It's better when it's fresh every day.

[gleamed]

[ She nods, still smiling as she moves towards the bread case. ]

How many loaves would you like? I've got a new banana pecan bread I'm trying out, too...

You'll have to forgive me, I don't have much practice in having to ask for things. Can I hitch a ride on your horse? (pause pause pause.) Please?

For your information, I have. My parents attempted to get me into spots when I was younger, and so I tried a variety, including a six month stint of polo before I was kicked off the team for missing too much practice.

(That's all said rather matter-of-factly, before he's rolling his eyes just a bit. Before groaning. Oh Loki, you truly are the bearer of bad news.)

Blue ♥ Pokémon Special

A. Recon and Pokémon, around the village

[After Blue's managed to filch herself a new outfit - a white tank top with a navy blue skirt that goes mid-thigh, paired with knee-high boots - and swear she'll pay back whoever she just stole from when she's got her money back in her hands, her second priority is to continue observing the new place. The book she'd found herself with called this place an enclosure named Luceti, and she's thankful for the little guide. Though it doesn't stop her from feeling uneasy at the feeling of the raven-like wings on her back, which have a blueish tint to them in the sunlight. Blue's holding a Snubbull in her arms, and he's looking pretty pissed at anyone who gives the fourteen year old a glance.

A brisk walk around to pinpoint the areas of everything on the map is her goal, and she'll be keeping her eyes out for her Pokémon even as she openly complains and flaps her wings in an effort to keep herself and Bull cool.]

Ah, it's so hot! What's the month? Summertime was never this rough, even at home. What's a girl gotta do for a refreshing water and maybe someone to fan her? These wings are useless.

B. Evening-Nighttime, Cherry Blossom Hill

[And, once a good scout around the area's been done, Blue can also be found sitting with Bull by the cherry blossoms north of the village, the light of the journal illuminating her concentrated face. The Snubbull's keeping an eye out for her, using his keen sense of smell to keep a nose out as well. He'd be the one to find the rest of her Pokémon, after all, so she isn't entirely as hurried as she could be. She'd rather get a handle on the world and trust them to know hide until then.]

I know. [Wow. He got a please. He'll give that one a 3/10 for effort.

Hmm, what to do. If he hadn't had a strange sort of not-friendship with Tony before, he might have just laughed and ridden away. However...]

Oh, all right. For old time's sake, I suppose. [This way he can stop feeling like he might actually owe Tony something. It's a hideous, hideous feeling. Debts unpaid have a way of biting like snakes, at the worst possible moments.]

Good. Then you'll know how to mount.

[Shrug.] Most of the village spends its time engaging in meaningless gossip and tiresome hobbies. [If he has to read one more post where some fresh-faced little mortal chirps on about cookies, he is going to eat someone's face.] Those of us with any sort of knowledge of spatial mechanics prefer to work on a possible route of escape. Which some might claim is equally meaningless, but it is better than twitting on about gosh, I don' t know, what flavor of ice cream do you like best to beat the heat?

[Ugh, he could just vomit, thinking about it.]

( come on now loki, there are very few people who get a please, even if it's not the most genuine please in the world. far from it really, but he should at least have a 5/10 for effort. he is talking to someone who tried to get all up on his grill and mind control him and whatnot. )

( not that it seems unlikely that he would partake. judging people is one of his favourite hobbies. but that was usually during the enjoyment of alcohol and all. he did hope there were other things to do as well. ) So you believe there is a way to get out of here? ( interesting. he would prefer to be in that camp, from the sounds of it. though if loki's in it, that could potentially be awkward. he would have to consider it carefully. or he could always do his own thing, whatever there was to do. but he would have to find that out once he get to the city centre.

[Were you too hot, Blue? Here. Let Weavile help. He can blow out a couple of gentle cooling winds to lower the temperature a bit.

But more importantly, he's gone far ahead of Silver in order to eagerly greet her. Hi Blue! Hi Bull! When did you guys show up? Weavile has no fear of potentially being unfamiliar as he eagerly hops around and tries to get Blue's attention.]

[He's so unfamiliar at first, but Bull recognizes Weavile and Silver's scent, and Weavile doesn't look so different than Sneasel. Besides, he cooled her off. Blue is more than willing to overlook some differences if it meant something important. Like Silver being about. She can ask him about it.]

Now that is what I'm talking about. Thanks... Sneasel? [That's not quite right, but there's no other who'd greet her so happily.] And where you are, Silver might not be far behind, am I right?

[Hopefully her little brother hasn't evolved too. This definitely looks like an evolution thing. Hi Sneasel-not-Sneasel. Hiii.]

[Oh, her little brother's definitely evolved alright. Weavile nods eagerly, and just like clockwork, Silver comes around a corner to figure out what his buddy was so eagerly running after, and Weavile points him out immediately

He doesn't blame Weavile for running ahead. Is that Blue?

...But she looks a lot younger...]

[The hill's fast becoming one of Crystal's favorite spots for post-training relaxation. Outside of the sweet spot Saori showed her to in the mountains, anyway.

It's not surprising to find other people up here, but Blue's presence is a surprise. Crystal hesitates, watching her (is it just her, or is she smaller than she remembers?), and heads over.]

Senior Blue? [Better to grab her attention than to just go hopping up. Especially with such an angry little Snubbull by her.]

[Yup, there's Silver. Her wings flutter happily as she waves a little bit. She'll be more saddened when she gets more of a gravity of the situation here, but for now she's glad to have what amounts to her only known family here. Blue'll get closer before she calls out.]

There you are! I knew you'd... [... Hold on.

Hold on.

Blue will get right into his personal space - no problems there - and lifts one hand as far up as she can, tiptoes included, as she sighs. A quick skim in the guide had told her something about time things, but... This is ridiculous. Bull thinks so too. Sneasel-not-Sneasel, at least you're not three feet taller than you should be.]

You and Sneasel have grown so much. Look at you! You're as tall as your Feraligatr now, aren't you? To read about it is one thing, but to see it's another.

[She's so... young. How young? What does she last remember?]

I'm not that tall. [Feraligatr's pretty tall. If he were that tall, he'd always hit his door on the way into buildings...] Sneasel's Weavile now. You helped him evolve.

[Weavile is also much cooler now and puffs out his chest proudly. Look at him. He's so cool. It doesn't get much cooler than that.]

[He only looks angry! Bull is completely and totally adorable and friendly and sweet! Blue snaps out of her concentrated state to look up at the voice, setting her journal on her lap, and doesn't really recognize her at first. Neither does the Snubbull, who stares Crystal down. After climbing onto Blue's shoulder.

Oh, wait, she was the girl who was with Silver at that time. Wasn't she? Looks the same in hairstyle and fashion, more or less, even though she's clearly taller and fuller. Blue'll have to see.]
