Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[It feels kinda strange to be walking side by side with her and to be the one giving her info. It's not bad, sorta nice, but definitely not what he's used to. And every time he looks out of the corner of his eye, he can see her bare shoulders and smooth calves.

Y-yeah, you wouldn't remember. They do something to your brain sometimes. It's part of their experiments and shifts.

Tch. This place is...fucked up would be putting it nicely. You remember how screwed up the TV world was when we went after Adachi? It's worse here. All these people from different worlds, like I saw some of those ninja from that manga that's going around some of the guys at school. Just walkin' around, plain as day, like nothin' was wrong.

Yeah, but that ain't the worst part. I was here when this really nice girl, one of the ninja, got kidnapped. Before, she was real quiet and polite. She came back... [Kanji's blush this time isn't for the girl at his side.]

She was pickin' fights with everyone and even broke one guy's arm for touching her.

Yeah, well, back home, I sell 'em at my family's shop. They do pretty well. That ain't why I make 'em though.

[He started making them, no lie, to help a kid win a girl. Now, he's just making them for the simple fact that he likes to keep his hands busy and make cute things.]

I thought about teaching others how to knit and sew the last time I was here. It just never got off the ground. There's a fashion club, I think. Or, at least there was.

[The wings have taken some getting used to. They had stopped aching a day after she’d arrived, but since she hadn’t had them at ALL before her arrival they still felt odd long after the pain had stopped. And unless becoming one with the Force is kriffing stranger than she had been led to believe... she hasn’t. And that has taken some getting used to, as well. The Order hadn’t covered... THIS, in its instruction. It hadn’t covered death and resurrection.

Because there isn’t supposed to be life after death. Not like this. She’s not a ghost and she’s not one with the Force. And what’s more, she knows people here. All of that has served to distract her from dealing with her death. Not that she minds. It’s bad enough she dreams about it. Dreams of fighting Magus, of the battle within the confines of his ship. The crash... and all that followed.

That’s what she’s doing now. Avoiding sleep and keeping her mind occupied. She could meditate... but death hasn’t made her any better at patience exercises. So instead she’s sitting on the edge of the fountain having a conversation with a small animal that reminds her of a mooka. Scritching its feathered head she shakes her head in amusement as it chirps at her and nuzzles against her hand with its beak. She gives the thing a crooked smile.]

Force, this still isn’t the strangest thing that’s happened.

[She’s not sure if she means the wings or the not being dead. Or Luceti itself. Or all three. Probably all three.]

[He's just going to pretend to not notice that grip. Because this is entirely awkward. He doesn't even like this Tony. And it's not as if the previous one and him had ever made it past the complicated fenemies stage.]

Hah. What most people know of black holes is miles behind. [It's amazing when you can learn by falling through one. Beyond new meanings for the word pain, that is.]

Mostly Walter. He's the mad inventor sort, I suppose you could say. [He really likes Walter. His kind of slightly cracked guy.] I've considered engaging Jane's help again, as she was in on the project before, but hadn't yet decided.

The previous you was in charge of the last round, and worked it out with her. You didn't let me anywhere near the project before because it's almost as if we don't like each other. [Imagine that.] I'm not in the business of pointlessly reliving old battles, not when it gets in the way of accomplishing a goal.

[Well, a goal important to him. And really, he's had his revenge on Tony. Throwing him out a window was fun. Wouldn't mind doing it again, all things being equal, but can also live without it. As far as he's concerned, coup has been appropriately counted. But then again, he's never really been bothered enough to hate humans, as much as many seem to want to believe they're worth that much of his attention. One has to care to begin with before hatred is really possible.]

(Yes. It is without a doubt terribly awkward. But also better than bouncing off the backside of the horse. At least, for Tony it's better than bouncing off. Loki would probably find it terribly amusing, which would make it all worse. So he'll just hold on and hopefully they'll get into whatever this city or town-thing is.)

I have no doubt that this is true. And will probably stay that way unless you, or someone else, decides to share. You have a very unique vantage point on it all.

I see. (Tony's eyes narrow just a bit as he works to keep track of it all. Wait. Jane?) Foster's here, too? Who all is here? Wherever here is.

(Wait. Again. Hold the phone. Previous you? Is it a migraine when it starts to throb behind your eyes, because if so, he is definitely starting to get a migraine. He lets go of the awkward grip he had on Loki for now, and rubbed his eyes.) Huh. Wow. I wonder why. That's just plain strange. (It does sound like him, mostly. More than he'd like to admit.)

[Incredibly amusing, really. Any time Tony Stark falls over is a good day as far as Loki is concerned. Well. Not really. But he's not going to say that.]

Mmm. Indeed. And I do, now and then, when the mood trikes me. [Share, that is. But he doesn't do that 'goodness of his heart' nonsense. It's always to buy something, even if it's just emotional capital or reputation to further solidify his position.]

My brother is here. Steve Rogers, unfortunately. There have been others you know, but they are gone now.

[Smirk.] I don't know either. It was very mean of him. Hurt my feelings terribly. [Hey man, if you're not going to bring up the blowing up a city and throwing you out a window thing, he'll leave that alone for now. Because still not contrite.]

If they were there, somehow, then it couldn't just purely be hell, right?) How did they get out? And I suppose if they come back, like apparently I have, they don't remember anything?

I didn't know you had feelings, but hey, you learn something new every day. (He is still mostly concerned by the fact that if thrown off or out of something he won't have anything to catch him, so Tony's all for trying to keep up the semblance of pleasantries they're currently exhibiting.)

Time is relative. As is space. I'd suggest you don't cling to the boring, linear perception of either. [He shrugs one shoulder.] Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I can't promise I'll be able to do that immediately, but I'll try. Since more and more every day it's becoming obvious that the world is definitely not how I was raised to see it. For better and worse. Mostly for worse right now since I've apparently somehow been sucked through a wormhole, timehole, messhole and ended up hear. (That does not help at all.) Right.

[This Tony is so much friendlier than the other, and they haven't been through nearly as much together. How odd. Then again, this Tony is also dependent upon him to get to the village and probably doesn't want to get dumped off a horse and probably trampled. Loki knows better than to set any kind of store in it.] I'll take that as a compliment.

It is no skin from my hide, though I shall be disappointed if you don't pick up on it quickly. [If you squint at that statement long enough, you might realize it's actually something of a compliment coming from this asshole.]

(Different points in life, perhaps? Or. Something. Mostly the fact that he doesn't want to get dumped off the horse now that he's just holding onto the saddle again. Also why he hasn't made any references to certain Norse Mythology. Sometimes he manages to use his brain before his mouth when it comes to saying dumb things. He has a semblance of perseverance.) As you should.

Once I get adjusted to something, I pick up on things easily. (Which roughly translates to somewhat of 'once i am sure this is real life and I didn't have acid slipped into my drink at some point'.) And if I have any questions, I'll know who to try to weasel information out of by finding something they want.

[Naoto was so focused on making sure that her blush was hidden that she still hadn't even looked in Kanji's direction. The fact that he had on nothing but a pair of thin pants weren't exactly helping the matter.]

[This entire situation isn't something that she feels comfortable with; she's grateful that Kanji's able to give her information, but knowing so little about their current predicament still leaves her feeling rather vulnerable. Doubly so once she hears Kanji's description.]

[She takes a moment to collect herself before she responds.]

So not only do they somehow have the power to make fiction into a reality, but they treat the people they bring here like lab rats. Lovely.

It is curious, though. [She sighs.] Despite both of us supposedly being here before, only you retained your memories. Why wipe the minds of some, but not others?

[What purpose would it serve? From what Kanji had said, he hadn't actually recollected anything about being here until waking up in the forest; if they didn't have the capacity to remember back when they were on earth, why erase their memories at all?]

Clever man, then. You and Steve Rogers alone have seen past my most excellent play-acting. [Well, no. Steve probably believes he has feelings. Just that they're all bad, so to speak.]

Wonderful (The sarcasm. It drips. But it doesn't mean he's not listening. Tony is, and has been to everything Loki has been saying. So far it seems fairly rudimentary, no lies detected as of now, at least no big ones. Some things may seem odd, the past him and whatnot, but the way it's said so casually, so naturally. It's too simple to be a lie.) ...alcohol? Do they have that here? I need a stiff drink.

Eh. When it comes to Rogers, he likes to say that I'm unfeeling too, so he might just say that to everyone.

[It's all a matter of technique, Tony. Sure, he could lie when it's so easy to discover the truth. And he does, sometimes, due to boredom or because it's a way to show his disdain or lack of care. But there's a longer game to be had. When everyone expects lies and receives truths that cost nothing--the information is freely available after all--then when there is a useful lie he does want to deliver, they are far more likely to believe it.

Loki always plays the long game.]

There's a perhaps surprising amount to be had if you aren't overly choosy. The wine's of uncertain vintage but not overly rough for the most part. Shall I drop you off directly at the tavern? [Now that is an amusing thought.]

He's rather enamored of my brother. I think it's just you and I, Tony. What an exclusive little club we make. Though what did you do to offend him so? Not enough truth, justice, or American Way?

[And Isaac, no doubt. Oh, he is so, so not warning Tony about Isaac. But he must find some way to be around when that meeting happens, for the sheer entertainment value.]

5 - Beach Party.

[It helps that she's given official canon artwork of her beach bod. But that doesn't necessarily mean she knows how to 'party'. In fact, the sun seems way too hot for her, and she tries to block it from her eyes with her incredibly pale arm.]
