Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[ Ikki has been in Luceti for about a week. To be honest, even a week hasn't really gotten her Up To Date on what's going on, but she's not too worried about it. There are, after all, people around to look out for her who seem to know what's going on, i.e. her elder family members. Anyway, her wings are cute and she can still airbend and life is all sunshine and flowers until further notice, okay.

Ikki's favourite place to hang out is, predictably, the playground. She's on the swingset now, and airbender kids? Can go pretty damn high on swings. ]

I'm going to go over the top!

[ aaaaaaand she does. And is thrown off the swingset. Whoops. No worries, bystanders, Ikki drifts down from the sky and lands on her feet, throwing her arms out in a ta-da! sort of way. Feel free to applaud.

Unless she landed on you, that is. ]

[Sokka happened to be watching and almost thought she was going to seriously injure herself. Except. Yeah. Airbender.

You can breathe again, Sokka. Up until the point where he looks up and-- crash.]

Oww. I think you need to work on your aim.

[breezing]

[ whoopsie daisies! Ikki looks - well, not apologetic at all. Sorry. Instead she greets Sokka with a hug and hangs off of him amicably until and unless removed. ]

Hi! Wanna try? You can practice with me, it'll be fun. Where're you going? Is it someplace cool? Uncle Sokka, how high can you go? Betcha can't touch the moon!

[markofthewise]

[This whole being an uncle thing is weird. But not bad. He won't pry her off. Yet. He can't even get a word in with all those questions until:]

Actually I've already touched the Moon. [The actual moon and the personification of it!]

[breezing]

[ GASP. Ikki's eyes are wider than wide, and she looks Impressed. Majorly impressed. NEW HERO, RIGHT HERE. ]

REALLY?! [ sorry was that loud? ] Was it fun? Could you breathe that high? How'd you get up there? Did you see any stars? Did you eat any stars? Can you eat stars? Do they taste like candy? Was it pretty? Did you fight monsters? That's so cool!!!

[markofthewise]

[HOW CAN HE ANSWER. He keeps trying to, before she fires off another question. Finally he'll uh. Go with what he can remember.]

Uh, I didn't eat any stars. It was kind of pretty. And I fought some monsters, sure.

[breezing]

[ WELCOME TO TENZIN & CO'S LIFE. ]

Aw, you should have eaten a few. If you go again will you eat one OH or bring one back and we can eat it together! And Jinora can have some too, I guess! What monsters live on the moon? Were they scary? [ totally settling in for story telling time, you have her full and undivided attention. ]

[Well at least she's sitting down! That's a start. Now how does he sum up one of the most difficult experiences of his life in a way that's age appropriate?]

Well, first of all, you can't eat stars. They're actually massive balls of burning gas that are billions of miles away. [And the ones in the sky here are fake anyway.] So if I brought one of those here, it would kill all three of us. I don't think Jinora would like that.

[breezing]

[ look of complete disappointment. Massive balls of burning gas? Are you sure they aren't made of sugar and true love? ]

But I wanted to use them as ice cubes in moonlight punch. [ pouting now. OH WELL NEW DREAM AHOY ] Weeeell, maybe she would. I mean I think she wants to have a love story where there's like wars or volcanoes and jumping in them. [ lots of hand motions here, from her seat on the ground. Ikki pays only so much attention to Jinora's reading habits. ] But I guess it wouldn't be much fun. But I thought you had a sword from space, Jinora said so. [ so obviously that's true. ] Why didn't you burn up??

[Well that's some crazy insight into the older sister's life. Thanks.]

I do have a space sword. And I was on the moon, remember? The moon is cold, not hot.

[breezing]

[ Ikki is pleased to be of service, of course~ ...wait, were Jinora's romantic fantasies supposed to be secret? OH WELL. ]

Does it shoot space beams? Can it cut through stars? Wait why's the moon cold? It it 'cause of waterbending? Did you have to wear three coats?

[Wry tone is wry, as you are still on top of her head. Katara is reachin up to hand you down now..]

[ fiiiine, Ikki flips off of her head and touches down with umistakable airbending and another 'ta-da' pose, looking over expectantly. ]

We didn't have swingsets on Air Temple Island! Luceti is my favourite. [ pretty simple way to look at things, but uh. ] My sister likes the library better, but that's because she's Jinora. The playground is so much more fun, right? Don't you think? Did you have them in your world, or are you from here? You look like you're from the Water Tribe, are you from the Water Tribe? My GranGran is, she's nice, but she's super old. [ secret telling time, looking around and then whispering ] I think she's older than bending. Oh! So's Korra, and also, well - [ the evil council man, uh. ] - other people!

[Aang's the one who isn't a victim. He's on the other swing instead and he applauds with enthusiasm. Everything about the arrival of his descendants has given him a seemingly perpetual surge of pride.

It was always so surreal to see. Airbending, being done by another person.]

That was wonderful, Ikki!

[breezing]

[ best grandpa ever, right. Ikki beams and preens at the attentions, because yay grand-parental approval. She bounces back over to the swingset, and flips the swing back around the top with a gust of air. ]

Bet you can't go higher than that, Grandpa Aang! [ well okay that's a lie, because she's totally watching expectantly for some master airbending funtimes, with a huge grin. ]

[He laughs.]

Just watch, Ikki!

[Grandpa Aang airbends at his back to swing himself up at a high speed, looping over the top twice. The second time it goes around, Aang leaps from the swing at the height of its arc and then makes a slow descent to the ground.]

[breezing]

[ all the claps! Ikki doesn't stop applauding for a minute or two. Swingbending is her new favourite game. It's totally a word, guys. ]

Oh, oh, now me! [ Sticking out her tongue in concentration, Ikki mimics Grandpa Aang, tumbling out of the swing once again, this time on the second time around just like Grandpa, and floating back down. She looks over for some more approval, grinning. ]

You're fun! You're my favourite Grandpa. [ have a hug, swingbender Aang. ] Hey, d'you know any other games? We should play air scooter tag or something! Although I guess it's less fun with two people. We can make a new game?

[He gladly hugs his unbelievably adorable granddaughter.]

That was really great, Ikki. [He feels a surging joy from the mention of "air scooter tag". I made that game.] Wow, a game for just two people? Uh... maybe we can play some air-catch! Make a ball of air, and we toss it between each other!

[breezing]

[ her new favourite person to hang off of, basically! ]

I've never played that! [ SQUEAL OF PURE JOY AND EAR SPLITTING-NESS ] Is it brand new? Did you used to play it? This'll be so much fun.

[Aang matches her excitement.]

I thought it up just now! Most Airbender games were made for groups! [It's likely he'd invent it back home, years later, when taking care of a sole Airbending child...] It'll be new and fun for both of us!

[breezing]

[ probably the two most excitable airbenders here, why are people leaving them alone ]

Really?! That's so so so so cool! [ happy jump and spin down to the ground, because oh my gosh new game ] Let's try it, let's try it! Who goes first? Should we have scooters too? OH, maybe eventually we can do lots of balls at once like - like juggling!

[To prevent extra headaches?]

That's an even greater idea! We can have balls of air all over the place! It'll be called... Super Air Catch!

[He steps back and quickly prepares his own air scooter.]

[breezing]

[ Little did they know that the two were plotting future headaches - wherever Tenzin is, this game is definitely going to come back to haunt him. In surround sound, even. ]

That's the best name ever, it's going to be the best game because of course it will be!!

[ Ikki takes a moment to stop gushing and spins her own air scooter, balancing on top of it with practiced ease. Making other balls of air while balancing should be new, though. ]
