Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[She recoils at the sudden bright light, covering her eyes with both hands. Yeesh that was unexpected. She was about to make a remark on it when a familiar voice speaks up. A familiar voice that could only belong to one person. But that's... impossible, isn't it?]

A-Alexei! [She'll try and squint up at him anyway, regardless of whether her eyes have adjusted to the light or not.]

Miss Patty Fleur. How nice of this place to decide to drop you in my home. [Meaning, you are totally not welcomed here, but I'll play pleasant anyway. He takes a quick note of her new feather garbs.]

I imagine you must be rather confused as to why and how you got here. [Nevermind, why Alexei's still alive.]

[She pushes herself to her feet instinctively, only to narrowly avoid getting tangled in the clothes hanging above her. Her hand flies to where her pistol would normally be, before she comes to the realization that it isn't there at all. Well, no matter, she still has her dagger-- ... Oh, wait, that's gone too.]

A-aye... [Alexei's right about one thing, there is definitely a lot of confusion right now. Confusion and intimidation, because suddenly coming face to face with Alexei isn't something she expected to ever happen.]

[He smirks as he watches her realize how truly powerless she was right now.]

Well then, what was the last thing you were doing before you decided to show up here?

[Might as well ask a few things before actually answering...that is if he felt like answering her.]

[Powerless or not, Patty is determined to go down with a fight! If... she is indeed going down. Alexei is being suspiciously docile right now. Either way, she scoffs loudly.]

That's none of your business, ya know! You're supposed to be dead as a doornail! [And flat as a flapjack, but that one's a little too morbid. Let's not say that out loud.]

Is that so? Well as you can see for yourself, I am very much alive right now. Unless you would like to believe you've been brought to the afterlife.

[She may have not told him exactly her point, but her being aware of his death gives him some idea of how far along she was]

The afterlife?! [She looks shocked, but only for a moment. Then she shakes it off in the literal sense of the word, as she shakes her head fervently.]

There's no way!

How would you explain this encounter then? [He steps aside while he lives her puzzling, making enough space for Patty to actually get out.]

Now would you mind getting out of there already?

[Huh- Oh. She's still inside a wardrobe. Alexei's wardrobe. ... Surely he must just be alive then, because there's no way the afterlife would have need for wardrobes.

She sidles out into the room, her eyes remaining fixed on the taller man as she tries to keep as much distance between them as possible. Yet, that turns out to be a bad idea, as her wings end up brushing along the wall when she tries to press up against it.]

Yeeowch! [She finally tears her gaze away from Alexei to try and peer over her shoulder, both hands moving to her back. Are those...?!]

What's going on?!

[Patty, you are amusing to watch when you are helpless and confused]

Be careful with those. You don't want to damage those wings while you're here.

[As much as she would like to prod and poke at those wings, she doesn't feel entirely comfortable taking her eyes off Alexei for too long. That's why her head snaps up again, her eyes narrowing into a bit of a glare.]

Why would you care if I damage anything?

I don't. I just don't want to deal with the mess.

The mess?! [That sounds ominous, especially when it's coming from Alexei.]

Is that a threat?

If I had really wanted to end your existence, I would have done so the moment I found you.

[...though she would have just come back in a week...eh, details]

I just want you out of here.

[Not only is Alexei a homicidal maniac, he is also just plain rude. Patty raises her nose up into the air, trying to muster up as much dignity as she can in this situation.]

Fine! I didn't want to be here anyway! [And so she starts sidling towards the door. She has no idea what lies beyond it, but anything is better than being stuck in the same room with this guy.]
