Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Michale, here? We are all equally screwed. There is no real hierarchy, no one greater or lesser. We're all stuck here. It's an even playing field, more or less.

[He sits up, laughing and suddenly seemingly encouraged.]

Of course!

[He had no idea.]

...You are precious.

[She snorts a soft laugh and shakes her head, looking up at the clouds.]

It's almost adorable.

Almost? Aw. I wasn't trying hard enough.

[He flops back down and paws at the air, tilting his head to the side like a kitten.]

How'bout now?

You are trying a little too hard, I think.

[It's impossible to not look over and laugh all the harder. And equally impossible to not reach out and ruffle his hair.]

[He leans into the touch, laughing and rolling a little.]

Heeey... what are you doing?

I am ruffling your hair. I thought that much was obvious.

[She props herself up on an elbow, watching him.]

..can you keep doing it? I haven't had anyone ruffle my hair in years.

[And he grins up at her without a care in the world or if he has one he's hiding it.]

[She's only just met him but- her smile turns into something softer. Something fond.]

Oui Michael.

[The ruffling might eventually become idle combing soon, however. Smoothing hair back into place, then out of place again.]

[He lets out a very long, very relaxed sigh and closes his eyes. It's clear that as he relaxes, worry lines and scars seem more apparent. He hid a lot just by smiling.]

Merci.

...Anytime, mon petit chat.

[And she means it sincerely. Something in his weariness echos in her. His desire to simply enjoy what was available to him here was foreign but the sentiment- well. That she could understand. And would not begrudge him.]

Vous êtes si adorable.

[His knowledge of French was decent and he felt a blush rising in his cheeks at her pet name for him... thus, responded with what any dignified man would.]

...miaou.

[She snorts a soft laugh, the blush. Reaches down to tap the tip of his nose. A boop.]

So. So very adorable.

Aw, shucks, Ads. You don't even know me and you've gone googoo eyed for me.

[He then winces sharply.]

Um. You mind checking my wing for me?

I'm equally...'goo goo eyed' for equally adorable animals and children, Michael.

[The moment he winces though, levity is lost. She sits up and nods for him to roll over.]
