Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[NOPE NOPE NOPE! Keeping his hands to his side. She wears such a revealing outfit and she wants to hold hands? Why, by Hubert's logic that must mean she's a--!]

[Just quickening the pace a little before he reaches for the eggs and places them in her basket.]

The milk is next.

[Sorry Grune. He's not trying to be insensitive... he's just not used to touchy feelies :(]

[Hubert Oswell! Does your mother know you're thinking these thoughts about an innocent young lady?

Grune is rather bemused by how fast he's moving--too fast even to have a nice cozy chat--and she had a little trouble keeping up. He must be in a big hurry, but he's still helping her. What a kind young man.]

Thank you! Now which way is it...?

[His mother? Hardly. The people he's traveled with? A few have caught on to his less than saintly thoughts. But he's a good person and won't act on it!

But he is a bit of a gentleman and is noticing that she's having difficulties keeping up. Just as long as they don't have to hold hands. Person contact is something he's not good with!]

[And slowing his pace down just a bit for her, he leads her to the milk.]

[Despite her long legs, Grune is not a fast mover. She takes the world at her own pace, and that pace is generally quite slow indeed.

This is much better for having a nice conversation. And actually, it's time for something she should have done a little while ago.]

[Short and sweet, which is just like Hubert likes his conversations with strangers. Especially suspicious ones like her. There is no way on earth someone could be that out of it. Of course, he's over thinking everything and never trusts anyone right off the bat.]

May I ask why you're wearing such a revealing outfit?

[Asking that while he's heading to the bread. It's bugging him way too much to not say anything about it.]

[Grune, unfortunately, is rarely capable of thinking and walking at the same time, and thus she stops dead to ponder his very confusing question.]

Revealing?

[What does he mean by that?]

[Was it necessary to stop? Oh well, he may as well answer her question.]

Yes, it's quite so if I may add. It's quite distracting.

[Luckily she doesn't appear to be someone who fights in battles. At least he sure hopes not because he sure wouldn't be able to concentrate. And now to the bread, he grabs a couple of loaves and places it in her basket.]

[She doesn't notice, too busy trying to make sense of what he means. She ponders for a moment, and then--oh, she understands!]

Yes, it's a very pretty dress, isn't it?

Pretty is not the word I would use for it.

[Now he's turning away, but still stealing glances at her.]

Now, shall we complete your purchase?

Isn't it?

[What other word would he use?

But before she can consider that for too long, something else he said catches her attention.]

Oh, we don't need to buy anything here.

[And that just stops Hubert in his tracks. Right, he completely forgot, there is no money in this place. It seems strange that everything is considered free, but that also stops robbery.]

Yes, right, I had completely forgotten. A force of habit and nothing more. So, I suppose you are to be on your way back home.

[Grune takes a look in her basket, then consults the list Fenimore had given her. That really is everything, isn't it?]

Yes, I need to bring everything back to Fenimore. [She gives him a big smile.] Thank you! You were a really big help!

[And then to thank him for all his kindness, she enfolds him in a nice, warm hug.]

I'm glad I could be of assistance.

[And then...

No no no no NO no nO No no no! But it's too late and he is being hugged by the scantily clad air head, and he's not sure how to feel about it. Physical contact is not something he really appreciates. Excuse him as he stiffens up. Though he at least has enough sense to know that this is a hug of thanks. Still, he has to say something after a moment.]

You may release me now.

[Grune is a little slow to do so, but she's a little slow to do everything. When she does eventually let him go and step back, she once again beams away at him.]
