Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[Cyborg was over on the couch, playing a game, and just about to beat the final boss. When. ZIP. There goes the power.]

Oh come on! Who killed the power!?

Sorry?

[She's not. And if it weren't for Cyborg's protests she would have probably hit the machine again.]

Are you serious? Man, I was about to beat the game too!

[He stands up and activates a flashlight from his arm. Cuz he's cool like that. He's noticing the mess now. Uh.]

Hey, I didn't turn them off on purpose.

You ripped the machine out of the wall!

[Man he's gonna have to fix this, isn't he.]

I was just trying to even it out.

It was even already.

[He shines the light down at the ground, where the earthbending is obvious.]

No, the board was tilted.

Right. You mind fixing the ground first?

[Might as well fix it now and hope the power surge didn't ruin EVERYTHING.]

All right, all right.

[Sigh, fine. She rolls her eyes, takes a breath, and makes a pushing down motion with her hands. The earth returns back to its original state, but the pinball machine is still roughed up.]

[You're so getting a bill for this. He shoots her a glare, then crouches down to start messing with the wiring. There's no use checking the fuses until he's sure there isn't any live wires.]

[Bill? There ain't no money in Luceti. She returns his look and creates her own light by means of fireball in her hand.]

[He does some work before standing up. He'll look over the machine.]

The good news is I can fix it. The bad news is I gotta fix it.

Well are you going to do it, or not?

[Sorry, she has no sympathy for the game right now.]

Hey, you can't run genius, arright? Hold your horses.

[He makes his way around her. He's got to find out where the power comes from. The system here is a little different than anything he's worked with before. But damn if he isn't able to adapt.]

[She rolls her eyes and leans back on the wall while he does that - and she keeps her fireball going.]

[Give him a minute or so and the lights in the Rec Center come back on. Finally.]

You don't know how many times I've had to do this back in the tower.

[Korra closes her hand, and the fire dies out. Huh.]

So you're an armored electrician?

Something like that.

[He opens up a panel on his forearm to run some readings.]

It helps to know your own hardware being like this.
