Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[The moment Presea starts to make her way through the forest, she may notice something peculiar up in the trees. A young girl with blonde pigtails, wearing blue attire, is standing up on a high branch, overlooking her surroundings. She's leaning forward an awful lot and both hands are holding onto the binoculars she's using. If this keeps up, she may fall.

What will Presea do?]

[The things she knows how to do best! Analyze.

She blinks, and then knits her brows together as her brain works, judging distance and height of the tree, zeroing in on the girl in question and estimating her size and weight, and the stability of the branch she's leaning on...

Ah. She's definitely going to fall. So, with a bit of quick thinking, Presea scurries over to where she's pretty sure the girl will fall once that branch finally snaps. She'll be astonished if it doesn't, it's all a matter of physics.]

[Presea's hunch is a very accute one. A brief moment after she positions herself below the branch, there's a loud snapping sound as it begins to crack under Patty's weight. Previously unaware of the impending danger, the blonde squeaks in surprise and keels over forward, off the branch.

Incoming!]

[Thankfully, Presea was ready for this. She readjusts her stance and position a little and raises her arms up. It's easy after that to snatch the child from her fall before she comes to any kind of harm. She's much lighter than anything Presea's carried or held before, so she doesn't feel much strain at all, even from the impact.]

Are you all right?

[Patty's eyes remain scrunched shut for a few more seconds, as she was sure she would hit the ground. Once she realizes she's perfectly safe, though, she peeks up at her savior.]

Oooh!~ I'm fine, ya know!

[Seeing that the girl is unharmed, Presea sets her down gently, and looks up at the branch she was on just a moment ago. Hm...if she really had fallen, the probably that she'd have bruised, broken, or fractured a bone were pretty high. What in the world was she thinking standing up there like that? Reckless...]

Please, refrain from doing such a thing again. The probability of injury, though minor, from such a height is great.

[The moment Patty's feet touch the ground, she straightens up and dusts herself off, even though she didn't quite need dusting. Then she grins up at Presea with a completely unconcerned expression.]

Don't worry! I was just taking in the surroundings, ya know! It's like they say, you can't call "Land ho" 'till you climb up into the crow's nest!

I have never heard such a saying. [...Yep. Blunt and honest, that's certainly ho Presea is. But so long as this child is safe, sound, and hopefully not planning on doing that again any time soon, Presea can relax. But she's never seen this girl before, though heaven knows if she's a regular or a New Feather.She seems pretty comfortable in the area, but...hm.]

Are you...familiar with this place?

Nope, not at all!

[She just continues to smile cheerfully as she says this. She's dressed in her own attire, so evidently she must've paid a visit to the store earlier. Even so, Patty's pretty new to Luceti and knee-deep in the 'exploration stage'.]

It's the duty of every great adventurer to gather information about a new place with a skip in their step and a pair of binoculars to their face!

[Uh. W-Well, at least she's not scared or distressed or anything? Presea's a little taken aback by this child's vigor, and she does note the outfit (A pirate? At her age?). How much did she know, if she was able to find the village, the plaza, and the clothing shop? If anything, this child seemed well versed in navigation and exploration. A little reckless, yes, but she was young.]

If it is information that you require, a well detailed Guide can be found within the journal - a device resembling its namesake - that you are provided upon arrival within this place. I...cannot remember it precisely, as I have only just returned... [And who know how long it's been since she left.] But I may be able to provide a summarized version of the lengthy information. ...If you require it.

The Guide? [She folds her hands behind her back, nodding sagely.] Aye, I've already read that, ya know. It was really helpful, but there's nothing like exploring a new place yourself! To understand the majesty of the ocean's wild blue yonder, one needs to see it to believe it.

[Okay okay, enough with the sayings.] ... But you've just returned? Returned from where? Were you out on a journey?
