Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

(Give her a chance! I know being a mixed blooded dragon can scream Mary Sue, but she is simply from a time where fantasy creatures are slowly dying out. I promise she is much more complex than that!)

[Careful near the fountain today, otherwise you may get splashed. Xzana is having a grand old time playing in it. The water splashing down is like a waterfall. Sometimes the human things around the village confuses her, but this one she likes!]

Or!

[Out fishing today? You're going to get a rather large bite on your line. Never thought you'd pull a girl out of the river did you? Don't worry, she'll give you your fish back. Just, it may be missing a chunk out of it now.]

Or!

[Simply catch her as she's sunning herself out in a nice green patch of grass.]

[Hugo happens to be sitting near the fountain deep in thought while Xzana is happily splashing away. He's really not paying any attention, so it definitely isn't a surprise when he ends up getting soaked.]

...Dammit!

[Oh, I'm sorry, did you say something? This dragon is just having too much fun splashing to notice. Look out! There's more water coming your way!]

[And this time at least, Hugo is prepared! He quickly puts up his force shield (as shown in the icon, including the sudden appearance of floating eyes), and then the water stays off of him.

Of course, it is a high speed wind barrier, so the wind likely is causing the water to fly away in numerous directions, and possibly some of it landing on Xzana.]

[Oh, that's strange. Usually when she splashes the splashes don't come back at her! She turns, finally spotting the poor man wet near her.] Oh! Hello! [Surprisingly if Hugo looks closely he'll see that besides the tattered clothes she wears and her hair, that she is not at all wet as she steps away from the water.]

[Well, thankfully Hugo's force shield spell is wind based, so he's starting to dry off now.

Strange though, how could someone who was in the fountain not be wet?] Oh, don't mind me here. I'm just trying not to get wet.

[Trying not to get wet? Who wouldn't want to- oh wait. Whoops.] I - got you wet?

[He's definitely sick of getting soaked, wasn't all that long ago when he had to trudge through those flooded floors of a tower.] Either that or sitting by a fountain here is a hazard for those who wish to remain dry.
