Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[He would have made it sure they missed her! But he relaxes once she grabs his shoulder.]

We are safe? Ahhh. That is great, great news. Where are we going... Sakura-san?

((leads along.... Okay here looks like a good spot.)) Okay, just sit down and stay still. ((Er okay what do we do with a drunken sailor ninja?))

[He immediately collapses onto the bench. Is he... even still awake?

Lee uh... ((bends over to look at him; oh god don't tell me he's dead!?!??!))

[Lee rolls over on the bench. His eyes are closed, but there are visible signs that he is breathing. He could be asleep... or is he?]

((Unsure stare.... But eventually she straightens up, sighs, looks around, and mumbles to herself.))

Geez, wish I had a way to snap him out of this... ((She leans backward a moment, unsure if MAYBE she saw one of their sensei, but by the looks of things.... no... alas.

So she finds herself a seat near Lee and sits until he's awake again. Maybe.... Neji... or Tenten.... will walk up and know what to do. Yeah that's something that could happen.

Eyes Lee a second.)) I shouldn't be surprised though, huh?

[No response yet; Lee just stirs slightly.]

((A pause... She sort of laughs.)) I guess sleeping it off is probably a good idea.

[Within the next few minutes, however, he starts to open his eyes, greeted by a pounded headache.]

Ugh. [Pause] S-Sakura...san?

.. Oh! Hey sleepy head. Feeling better?

[He sits up and smiles at her.]

What happened, Sakura-san? [He grabs his head and realizes how familiar this feeling is.] Oh! Was I... drunk again?

Well, I dunno about "again", but you definitely were drunk. ((going to have to laugh at him a little.)) Didn't even look like you drank that much!

Ah, Sakura-san, even a drop of alcohol can be poison for a youth such as myself. But... please forgive me, Sakura-san, for acting so disgracefully in your presence!

Ha ha ha, no, it's fine! It's not like you did anything exceptionally weird, even for you.

Anyway, maybe we should stop today. I get a feeling you're still not feeling like yourself.

Ah... yes. That might be for the best. I failed to find Gai Sensei or Kakashi Sensei. [Pause.] What if... they really are not here?

Well... If they aren't here, maybe that's not such a bad thing. They've got stuff to do that's probably ten times more important than what we have to do.

[He shifts to sit normally on the bench, leaning his elbows on his knees.]

I know. It would be fine if they were back home, helping to prepare for the war. I am just thinking selfishly. You are strong, Sakura-san. You are fine without Kakashi Sensei around. But... without Gai Sensei around to smile and tell me everything will be alright? ...I am not sure if I can stand this place.

((Oh my gosh lee you're killing me!!!))


((Sakura stares, a little shocked. Wow, that was. One HELL of a nice thing to say. She was so used to Naruto trying to protect her all the time, and tell her that he'll make sure nothing happens to her. Even when she tried to be the strong one, Naruto would just.. butt in like he always knew what was best.

Lee.... he's protect her, too, even if she was much younger then. He'd tried to protect her from the sound ninja when Sasuke and Naruto couldn't. She remembers that now.))

((She shakes her head a moment, discarding the memory long enough to bring herself to respond.))

C'mon, Lee, you know that's not true. Sure, Gai sensei's means a lot to you, but his job is to raise you so you can go without him and be strong on your own. I think you've done a great job with that, so don't shoot yourself down so quick!

[niceguypose]

Thank you, Sakura-san! You're right. I have learned so much from him, it would be an insult for me to not keep fighting here in this world. [He leaps up to his feet.] In this world, I resolve to become strong enough to survive without Gai Sensei! I will live my life so that if I see him again, he will not be sad at what I have become!

[And then from standing up so quickly, he nearly vomits, but he's able to keep it down.]

Okay that's good... she stares, and tries to perk up again.)) Hah. Yeah! Er.. Yeah! I'm sure Gai Sensei would be really proud to see that. You're practically his perfect student.
