Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[Oops. Someone didn't stop to think about whether he'd actually remember her this time around.]

[And Hubert just blinks at her, his expression not betraying surprise in the least. Just who is this girl and why does she know him? Thinking for a moment, he tries to dig into his memories to see if he ever encountered such a girl, but nope. He's not coming up with anything. But still, he's not going to be rude either.]

My apologies, but I don't seem to remember you at all. However, yes, I am Hubert.

[But he will be insanely blunt.]

[That stops Pao-Lin in her tracks, and the smile instantly drops from her face. Suddenly she feels a little stupid for just rushing at him like that.]

Oh. You...really don't remember being here before, at all?

[She got lucky with Toph, really.]

[Now he's questioning this girl's sanity. Had he been here before? Then again he had heard mentions of it, though he didn't quite believe it. But it would also explain why this girl knows him. Taking some time to think, he pieces the puzzle together. Well, he doesn't think he could be mistaken for anyone else, so he decides to answer her question.]

No, I'm afraid not. This is the first time I have ever come to such a place, at least in my memories.

Mmm...I see. [Well, there's nothing to be done about the matter but keep moving forward. This news isn't going to change that she's a friendly person towards nearly anyone. Pao-Lin brightens with a smile.] I guess this must be weird for you then, huh? I'm Pao-Lin -- we were friends here before.

The pleasure is mine, Pao-Lin. [Though his voice hardly sounded pleasurable, he simply said it for formalities and nothing more. However, it does seem that she intends to be friends again. Not that he can complain, but he doesn't exactly know how to be social.]

How long was my absence from this place?

Well, I found out from Cheria that you'd been sent home near the end of February, so...maybe like four or five months ago?

And are such absences normal?

They happen, yeah. I had a friend who was gone for about the same time as you, but she came back and remembered being here before. No one really knows why some people remember and others forget, though. [Probably has to do with all that timey-wimey dimension-hopping stuff involved in people being taken to Luceti.]

My apologies for forgetting. [He hardly sounds apologetic, but the fact that he said it meant that there was something to apologize for. He's also not looking at her at this moment to see that slight expression of apology in his face. Though he still hasn't quite fully analyzed her to see if she is indeed telling the truth, which is why he won't let her see this weakness.]

Okay, if you're sure! You can definitely talk to me if you have any questions about this place or need help with anything. I've been here for about nine months now, so even though I don't know as much as some people, I still know some things.
