Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Obviously the Tales series could use some Disney, because it makes everything better.

Also, this is the power of friendship and hearts. Being awesome. Sora is currently laughing as he looks back to see Caius trying to keep up now. Sora's obviously won this battle. So, Sora soon slows down and lands.]

[Come to think of it there is Tales of Hearts. If Donald and Goofy suddenly started running around in Tempest it could only be a good thing. Can't really do much worse.]

No way, I'm not tired! [He says whilst panting-] I just wasn't expecting you to start glowing like that and jumping around.

I think this would be a good spot to make camp, it's a big enough clearing to get a tent set up over there.

Sora is currently just wandering the store as well, but probably looking to try and buy potions. He's probably got the wrong store. Continuing his way through the aisles though, Sora hears a girl nearby sounding like she's in the need of help.

Going over to her, Sora looks at the row of hair care products.]

Yeaaaah, I can see your problem.

You weren't? People don't usually seem surprised when I do that kind of stuff.

[Sora will look to his friend, noticing his panting. He's going to repress a laugh as he looks at Caius.]

Do you mean right now? You're not that tired, are you?

Because people love to read it!

[He grins to Sora, conspiratorial.]

Books like these carry them away from their own lives and into realms of fantasy. It's what they want, so I give it to them!

[Sora doesn't really get it. Mainly because he's seen a lot and even though seeing other worlds was cool for a time, he's okay with just staying at home now.]

[Standing rather stiffly in the produce section examining fruit. Looks up to see a rather interesting looking individual seeming to be wandering aimlessly. Still confused by the lack of logic which is Luceti, Spock is compelled to communicate with the individual.]

Greetings, I am Spock. [lifts hand in Vulcan salute] Are you familiar with your surroundings?

Oh, come on! [Pat pat pat on his sensei's back.] Join me! I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time!

[And is that Minato starting to grind his hips to the music? Oh god.]

[Jiraiya has a point. They can just do what they can, but the helplessness at times can't help but eat Minato away. His comrades are suffering from an unknown, powerful source and as Hokage, he deems he should be doing everything.

Though he also knows his sensei's right.]

I doubt I inspire anyone just by smiling.

[He glances over mid-bite. Chewing quickly, he nods in the best greeting he can manage right then.] Mmf. [Gulp.] Evening. I think a better question would be "why is this stranger trying to offer me cake so happily?" [Although, Tattoi is eyeing the cake. He's only seen red cake once or twice, and that had been on very special occasions. Could they perhaps know something about him?]

[The not-quite-rabbit-man chuckles for a moment.] I suppose that depends on which world you're referring to. Regardless, what does this series contain? Action, horror, suspense, romance...? [He's sidling closer, trying to get a look at the pages.]

[It's closer to the evening time when Seto starts to wander about the village in search for his best friend. He had taken a cat nap at home and woke up to find Crow still gone, which has of course worried him. He knows the other boy likes to run off and cause trouble but it's the Malnosso he's more concerned about. What if they've taken him again?

Seto won't let that happen.

So as he walks about the village, he takes a look around and even up at the buildings and houses occasionally, hoping to see him somewhere. WHERE ARE YOU BUDDY... ]

[Trust us, if the Malnosso were coming after us, we wouldn't let them take us quietly, that's for sure. Crow actually spots Seto before the other boy spots him, and at first he's about to call out to him...

...before he suddenly gets a better idea. He quietly jumps down somewhere behind Seto, and once he's sure that Seto won't notice him, he sneaks up to tap his best friend on the shoulder. However, he quickly leaps away to hide on the nearest roof as soon as he does so, so that when Seto turns around, he won't see anyone there.

Because hey it's not like you're worried about us or anything, so it's okay to mess with you a little before we let you know where we are, right?]

[He blinks at the tap and turns to look only to notice..!

...No one there. How weird, he could've sworn that someone just tapped his shoulder--or at least something did. A branch maybe? But he's not near a tree. Hmmm... Taking a look around, he calls out:] Hello?

[Nope, you get no answer in reply. That would sort of defeat the purpose if we said anything and gave away our hiding place so easily.

Crow keeps as quiet as possible and waits for another chance to do the same thing again--he's actually curious to see how long it takes before you figure out what's going on here. As soon as he's sure your guard is down and your back is turned, you get another tap on the shoulder and a slight whoosh as he's quick to leap away and hide on the roof opposite of where he was before.]

[He had grown used to sensing others around him, and so he practically feels those eyes on him as he browses through the grocery store. But he doesn't pay it much attention--since it's not a hostile presence--until they happen to be facing each other.

And he blinks at the salute ... before wondering if he's supposed to be mimicking it.]

I can't say that I am, no. [...] Spock.

[Score one for Jiraiya's bad influence!]

Ah, well, as you say... [He pushes himself to his feet, laughing.] I suppose I can be persuaded~

You might be surprised. You're quite the hero, kid. And you've always inspired - or at least scared the shit out of the other guys - when you show up.

[He might not say it much, but damn, is he proud of Minato.]

[drops hand and takes a deliberate step closer. Spock's height towers over the new acquaintance.]

Then perhaps we can be of assistance to one another. I seem to have lost my science equipment upon entering this world. Have you experienced this phenomena with your possessions?
[Spock's eyes travel up to the bandage on the stranger's forehead.]
