Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Anyone browsing in the item shop today might see a teenage girl spinning between the aisles before coming to rest at her destination...well, they would see her. That mop of orange curls is pretty hard to miss.

In fact, that mop is sort of the reason she's in here. Modern society (well, compared to back home) is new and different and fascinating, but how on earth is a girl supposed to differentiate between "shampoo" and "conditioner" and "gel" and "hairspray" and all this other nonsense?

So Merida's studying bottle after bottle in the hair care aisle, looking more than a little puzzled. Finally she sets one back on the shelf with a frustrated groan.]

Ach, I don't understand! They all look the same! [Really, she's half a mind to give up and go for a walk in the forest, but maybe someone is eavesdropping and can help her out...]

[Riki's just taking a look around the item shop, looking for nothing in particular, really. He's just kinda bored. He peers over at the aisle with hair care supplies though when he hears the girl's groans and remarks.]

Is something wrong?

[Turning to face the boy who just spoke, Merida gestures to the rows upon rows of shampoo, etc. Laying the blame on them, as easily as if they'd been her triplet brothers.]

Aye, there's somethin' wrong. These...things. How am I supposed to know which ones to get? I can't make any sense of it.

[Riki follows Merida's gesture and glances over at the shampoo bottles. Does she not have these in her world or...]

Well... what sort of thing are you looking for?

[She scoffs again.] Something to put in my hair! [Duh.] What else do you use this for?

[She's been told this is how you modern folks do it, so get with the program, modern boy!!!]

[Gosh sorry sorry...!]

Well, some of these are for washing your hair, while others are for styling it. [so...]

Styling it?

I like mine just the way it is, though.

In that case, you probably just want shampoo then, which is for watching it. [He points to the rows of bottles on the shelf.]

You can just pick whichever one you think smells best, I guess.

[Merida turns where the boy points, and puts a hand to her chin, peering.]

Alright... [Ohhh, okay. "Shampoo."

She swipes one labeled "Pine Forest." That sounds homey.]

This'll do. [She faces Riki and nods, if a little reluctantly. ] Thanks.

[He smiles, nodding back at her.]

No problem. Do you not have shampoo back where you're from?

[She shakes her head in the negative.] I've never seen anything like this. It's so...clean, I suppose, but in a...very strange way.

[Hey she's from a Disney movie so for all we know that mop cleans itself, okay.]

[For all we know the mop has anti-dirt magic on it or something.]

Really? What kinds of things do you use to bathe then? [Assuming she uses anything like that at all..]

[Hair troubles? Yeah, she knows how that goes. And the shampoo aisle is one which Rapunzel visits ferquently at the grocery store. And so of course she can't help but notice the girl with the mop of red hair in utter distress there when she comes to pick up one or two or twenty bottles.]

I like to pick the ones that smell the best! But there ARE a lot of choices...

What, I should just open all of them and take a whiff 'til I find one I like?

[She does just that with "Hawaiian Ginger," and scrunches her nose up, placing the bottle back a little roughly.] Ahh, too strong!

[Rapunzel giggles.] They all smell pretty strong when they're still in the bottle. But it's not so bad when it's in your hair! Which is VERY pretty, by the way.

[She just can't help but notice hair.]

[About to reach for another bottle, Merida stops and giggles nervously at Rapunzel's compliment.]

Do ya think so? ...Thanks. Mum always said I should keep it tamed, but... [But Mum has...changed recently.]

[She shrugs.] Mother was always the same way with me, too! Keep my hair out of things, but of course, she never let me cut it...

[She trails off, the rights herself.] Oh, sorry! I'm Rapunzel, by the way. What's your name?

Oh. Right. [No doubt if mum were here she'd be scolded for her rudeness.]

I'm Merida. Pleasure to meet you!

Merida? That's a beautiful name! It's a pleasure to meet you, too!

[She sticks out her hand for a handshake. This is how people get to know each other, she has learned.]

[Merida shakes the hand and grins. It's not often she meets somebody close to her own age!]

Thanks for the help. Have you been here long?

[Please girl, you want hair that's hard to miss? How about this spikey haired derp who seems to have his spikes naturally. KH logic, one has to love it.

Sora is currently just wandering the store as well, but probably looking to try and buy potions. He's probably got the wrong store. Continuing his way through the aisles though, Sora hears a girl nearby sounding like she's in the need of help.

Going over to her, Sora looks at the row of hair care products.]

Yeaaaah, I can see your problem.

[Merida turns to the voice at her side and...

Well, she's never seen hair like that. So pardon her staring for a moment or two.]

R-right. [Recovering, she gestures back to the shelves.]

I don't know what to make of it!

[Everyone has fabulous hair like that in Kingdom Hearts. They could give Merida pointers sometime.]

This stuff? I think it's a bunch of hair care products.
