Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Oh! Hi, Aang! [Ty Lee doesn't really dislike Aang, but he was the Avatar, which meant that he was an automatic enemy, and... well, she chased after him and tried to kill them along with Azula and Mai, but that wasn't personal! It was just... a thing. That they needed to do at the time. But she's here now! And Azula isn't here now! And she was in prison because she attacked Azula so it wasn't like she had to listen to her anymore, anyway!

So, she just shrugs and offers Aang a smile.]

I'm good, I guess! I'm still trying to get used to the wings, though. [But they're pretty, so that helps. Somehow.]

[It all works out! That she's not immediately attacking him is also a welcome sign that all is well.]

They do take some time to get used to! [He laughs.] Y'know, when I got here I almost thought that I had the wings all along with noticing and that's how I got so good at airbending! But I like your wings!

Oh, thanks! [He sheepishly twists around to showcase them better.] They match the air nomad colors, so I guess you can say they're kinda like my aura!

Hmm... I guess you aura resembles Air Nomad colours, but it's really bright, too!

Oh, definitely! [Give her a moment to think.] Maybe I could teach you to read auras sometime! They're really good for learning what a person is like!

I mean, you're the Avatar, right? I'm sure you could do it!

You would? Thanks! That could be really fun. I'm sure it could fall under Avatar stuff. I wonder if it has anything to do with the energy inside people.

It does, actually! [How to explain this...] Aura reading is sort of like training yourself to see the energy that surrounds people. It's being able to visualize the energy they project!

Does that make any sense?

Yeah... it kinda does! I might have actually seen something like that before. But it was... it was when I was using a really special technique, one that's also real dangerous.

Oh, well... this isn't dangerous at all! Unless there's a way you can make just looking at someone dangerous.

I definitely don't know anything like that, so I'd be glad to learn sometime!

Great! [Um.] Would you like to start now?

Oh, sure! Now's great, as long as you feel up to it!

I'm always up for it! It'll probably be easier to start small, though... and don't be disappointed if you don't see anything at first, okay? Sometimes it takes a lot of time and practice to notice something.

Sure! I'm used to not getting things at first - it happens a lot when learning bending.

Okay, well... start by looking at your hand. And don't just look at it, but really look at it. [Ty Lee, your phrasing leaves a bit to be desired.]

Um... okay.

[He holds his hand in front of his eyes, staring at it as much as he can.]

I'm looking at it, not looking at it and looking at it! What should happen now?

Just keep looking! Do you see anything?

N-not yet. ...I think. My hand still looks like my hand!

Maybe it'll be easier if you know what your aura looks like! It's... [Hmm.] It's more of a gold than just orange and yellow, and it's sort of surrounded with a bright, white light!

Try focusing until you see something like that! But only tell me if you really see it! It's no good if you're just pretending.

Okay... I think I understand. Just give a me a second to focus, and I'll see what I see.
