Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[ Ty Lee is one of those people Ikki actually doesn't know a lot about, future knowledge included, but the arrival of someone from their world - and someone everyone else did know - didn't go unremarked, and she's probably seen Ty Lee at least once before.

She clearly has to fix this not-talking-to-her-much thing, though, and what better time than the present? Wherever Ty Lee is, a seven year old airbender will come up to see what she's doing, cheerful expression firmly in place. ]

Hi!! Whatcha up to?

[Ty Lee just offers Ikki a warm smile.]

Not a lot, really! Just practicing my stretching - it's always good to stay flexible, after all! [You can take the girl out of the circus, but you can't take the circus out of the girl.]

[breezing]

[ Ikki's pretty flexible herself, but she's fairly certain she can't do what Ty Lee is.

...But hey, she's willing to try! So she'll sit down by Ty Lee, because why not. Let's see how long it takes her to get tangled up and fall over. ] You're really stretchy, then!

[theyreclumps]

[Careful, too much and Ty Lee will have to untangle her.]

I am! [She wiggles her toes for some kind of emphasis.] But only because I've been doing it for such a long time!

[breezing]

[ Okay so she can put her chin in her hands but how the heck do you get your feet up onto your head. 8|a Ikki's...not having much luck there.

She does topple over to the side, though. Welp. ] How'd you learn to do it?

It's just a matter of practice for me! Naturally I'm really flexible, so all I had to was keep training my body to get to the point where it is today. Different kinds of stretches, acrobatics, all kinds of stuff!

Plus, I used to be in the circus, so I had to make sure I was in perfect condition for every performance. You can't please a crowd if you're not at your best, after all!

[breezing]

D'you think you could teach me some? [ It sounds fun, after all! Also how cool would it be if she could learn to put her feet on her head.

She brightens up a ton at the mention of Ty Lee's circus days - wide-eyed eager child is slightly idolizing you now, yes. ] Really?! You were?? What'd you do there? Was it fun? Can you show me stuff? Do you know lots of tricks?

[theyreclumps]

Oh, um... [ASKING A LOT AT ONCE, IKKI.]

Sure! What would you like to see?

[breezing]

Flips!! [ LOTS AND LOTS OF FLIPS. ]

[theyreclumps]

Of course! [Ty Lee takes a moment to untangle her limbs and stands up, brushing any dirt off of her clothes. With that, she takes a deep breath and does several back flips in a row. One, two, three, four, five. Easy as can be.]

Ta-dah!

[breezing]

[ She's rewarded with clapping. Lots and lots of clapping. Even though Ikki can manage a simple flip or two, she's never done that many in a row, and she always uses airbending. ]

That was amazing!!! Who taught you all of this? The circus?

[theyreclumps]

[Ty Lee grins and bows. It's always fun performing for little kids.]

Well, being in the circus helped, but I knew how to do some of these things before I joined. It was part of why I thought I'd be a good addition to begin with!

[breezing]

You'd make a really good airbender, I bet.

[theyreclumps]

Maybe, but I'm happy being just who I am, too.

[breezing]
