Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Nope! You use your journal! Like this one, see? You should have had one around you when you woke up. Everyone gets one! They're how we can all keep in touch. You can just write something filtered to her or ping her or something!

Orrr we can ask inside where she lives and go there, I guess, but either way works. Journals are usually best just because I dunno if she's up to anything. School hasn't started yet, and I don't know if she's in it even, so she could pretty much be anywhere doing anything.

Do you guys have a Cashman's here? If you do, I know exactly where Quinn is.

What's Cashman's?

[Sudden horrible visions of the kids she used to babysit for: frighteningly perfect, and completely ignorant of the world. Or the home-schooled kid she got to know for awhile. Daria may not care for the humiliation of a shopping experience, but everyone knows what Cashman's is.]

It's a department store. You know, at the mall?

[ ...W-well she did grow up on an island compound where they grew their own food and were all monks and nuns trying to revive an entire culture. ]

I don't know about a mall, but I know about stores. Umm, we have a few of those around here - the item shop, the clothing store, the grocery store - and everything's free, so you don't have to worry about money. Which is good, 'cause no one has any.

Quinn's probably at the clothing store. She probably even knows I'd look for her there if she got lost. Though I still haven't figured out how we both got lost in the same place at the same time.

[Right. The guide the little girl mentioned. She'd have to go back and find that journal after all.]

Oh! Well, we can go there first if you want - we should get your clothes anyway - or we can stop in and see where she lives and then go to the shop?

[ She's leaving it up to Daria, since she seems pretty convinced her sister will be at the shop. Quinn did seem happy when Ikki mentioned everything was free... ]

[Normally, she'd have an answer. This is because normally, she'd know where things are.]

Which one is closer? We may as well check it first.

The Welcome Center. [ you know, right by this here mural. ] It shouldn't take more than a few minutes! I know people who work here.

Don't think I don't appreciate it, but do you usually take people who get lost here on tours and help them find each other like this?

[It actually was appreciated. It was also a disturbing hint that this really did happen a lot.]

Yep! [ Not everyone does, probably, but Ikki's always willing to help out someone who seems to be lost. ...Although they'd probably usually prefer somebody not seven years old. ] You have to help people when they're in trouble, you know?

[Aside from the chatter, and generally not knowing how to relate to kids, Daria doesn't really mind the seven years old part. (Heck, those creepy perfect ones say she was one of their favorite sitters. She introduced them to the wonders of slacking off and mild swearing.)

It's the being way out of her depth part that bothers her.]

You're a good kid. [Time to go in. Daria slips through the door, and is immediately at a loss again.]

Right over here! [ Ikki will just. Waltz over to the side and check them herself, searching for Quinn's name. It shouldn't take her too long. ]
