Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[ So she's heard of her. It's nice to get a little recognition for what she did, even if she didn't do it for the fame and glory. But for some reason, Mei seems a little.. upset? And Hilda can't figure out why. ]

But that didn't happen two years ago. More like a few months.

I've... um... heard a lot about you! [ she does muster up her smile again, but it's obviously different than the one she had just a moment ago.

but she shakes her head. ] It was two years ago for sure! Everyone always talks about it.

No, no, no. Definitely not two years. That's just silly, you know. [ Because she's still 16 and not 18 and this doesn't even make sense. ]

It isn't silly! Cheren and Bianca - they haven't seen you for two whole years! They're your friends, aren't they?

[ there's no way she's being swayed on this... she probably can't count on two hands how many times she's heard the phrase "two years ago". ]

They are! My best friends, even. [ Hilda was planning on leaving for Hoenn in a few days. Does this mean that in two years, she'll still be searching for N? ]

There's gotta be an explanation for this. Time travel? [ Did Dialga sneeze? Or - that guy in Opelucid did talk about how the city looks in a different universe. ]

[ nod nod! see, she totally knows what she's talking about. ] Both of them helped me a lot on my journey! Cheren's even the Gym Leader in my hometown!

[ of course, the possibility of a time paradox or something like that isn't even crossing her mind. she's much too surprised by all of this. ]

I don't remember doing any time travelling... maybe it has something to do with why we're here?

Yep. He might be a new leader, but he was still a REALLY strong trainer! He gave me my very first badge...

[ la la la, digging into her bag until she pulls out her badge case! the first one placed there is the ever-familiar Basic Badge, with the other seven that she may or may not recognize. ] See?

I wouldn't expect anything less from him. [ He did always lose to her but he's still a tough trainer who proved his mettle. If anyone deserves to become a Gym Leader, it's him. ]

[ Some badges are new, others... seem to be missing. The Basic Badge is still there, though, but if it's the first one... ]

Sorta. I think she wanted to take more time to the Nacrene Museum, so she asked Cheren to take over! I still wish I could have battled her, though... [ pout. she just wants to battle all the Gym Leaders. ]
