Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Well. Sometimes you'd bring me breakfast in bed. Not all the time. But it was a thing you did.

Oh. Is that so? Did I give you massages when you came home too?

[Oh. Oh. That's good.]

Yes, yes you did. They were amazing.

[She just stares at him.]

You know I can still kick your butt, right?

[After two years of the most intense training he's ever endured, he nearly almost points out that he's no pushover anymore. But his mind is a year out of practice, even though his body doesn't seem to be. And, well, he remembers when they had their first spar when she came back to Luceti. She'd been happy for him to do so well. Less happy she didn't do so well in turn.

So he just smiled awkwardly.]

Hey, no need for that. These are all normal things that girlfriends do, really!

[Then that's something she'll learn.]

Luckily I'm not a normal girlfriend then.

This is true. [It's okay though, it's just the way he likes her. Although...] So that's a no on the massages, huh?

Maybe. We'll have to see if you deserve one. Or, I might just force you to give me one.

Maybe I will. I'd probably be great at it. I've got powerful fingers. You know, with all the smithing and stuff.

[They were calloused even back in their world, but they were only rougher now thanks to his daily smithy work.]

Well, my shoulders are a little stiff. Maybe I could go for a massage right now?

I feel like, somehow, this has completely turned around on me.

[Somehow he didn't look that put out.]

Because it has. Does this mean I actually get a massage.

Turn around, warrior girl. You win.

Really? [Because she's turning around and totally all for this.]

A guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do.

[Okay, he's coming up behind her. Resting his hands on her shoulders.]

Wow. Thanks Sokka. [Such a good boyfriend~]

[Yup. He starts out with a gentle squeeze of the shoulders, then starts to work out all that tension and tightness there.]

How's that?

[But what she did not know, what she could not know, was that Sokka was planning something sinister. Something terrible.]

[She relaxes under his hands.]

It feels great.

Good. Good. I'm glad.

[This will continue for, oh, half a minute. Until Sokka's hands work down past her shoulders, near her sides...

And under her arms. Is she ticklish?]

[Not that ticklish, but it does surprise her, enough to turn around and push him away.]

What are you doing!?

[Oh well, he's still laughing out loud anyway, even as he stumbles back a few steps. That was too easy.]
