Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[And now her Item Shop smelled like sulfur and the things she'd carefully put away were being moved all about. Welcome back, little brother.]

[And he'll quickly bamf right next to her with a sheepish grin.]

Rogue! There you are.

[touchofrogue]

Yeah. [Cough, cough, aggravated waving of hand to dispel smoke.] An' there you are. What do ya think you're doin'?

[Hush, you know she loves you.]

[misterfuzzy]

[Hey, the smoke's part of saying hello. He pulls down the hood of his cloak to expose his face after a quick look around. It feels odd to talk to Rogue while covered.]

I was looking for my image inducer. Shouldn't it be here?

[touchofrogue]

If it didn't come with ya, then it might be in today's dump. Or with the watches. Did ya check there?

[misterfuzzy]

The watches. Right. Of course I checked the... Where are the watches?

[touchofrogue]

[Sigh.]

C'mon. [Small smile.] It's over here.

[misterfuzzy]

[He walks along with her.]

Thanks, Rogue. You're a life saver.

[touchofrogue]

Yeah, let's if it's there first.

[But she smiles at him.]

[misterfuzzy]

[He has a bit of a perpetual smile himself, alternating between sincere and cheeky. Things hadn't been the best for them lately not long before he came here, but keeping Rogue in good spirits in this weird place seemed like a better priority for the time being.]

I've got a good feeling! The fuzz knows these things.

[touchofrogue]

'The fuzz,' huh?

[She shook her head and smiled.]

Guess we'll see.

[misterfuzzy]

At least it shouldn't be hard to single it out. Do you have to do this for other people all the time?

[touchofrogue]

It's somethin' ta do.

[It's not a long walk to the watches.]

Why don't you look through here, an' I'll go check in the back.

[misterfuzzy]

[He gives a thumbs up before he stoops down to rifle through the watches.]

Sure! The sooner I can stop wearing this thing, the better.

[touchofrogue]

[Rogue hesitated.]

You don't... have to, ya know. Last time you were here, ya ended up goin' blue full time.

[A small shrug, that same unnatural hesitance in her posture, in her face.]

No one seemed ta mind overmuch.

[misterfuzzy]

[And he looks at her quizzically.]

What? I... did? But that just sounds risky. Who wouldn't mind this? [He slips his furry hands out of his sleeves to examine them.]

[touchofrogue]

[Rogue raised her eyebrows at him.

Um. Hello. Also followed by: Duh.

And then she smiled at him.]

Think about it.

[And turned to walk off.

Because it's a good question, really. Who wouldn't mind it?]

[misterfuzzy]

[He returned her smile. Right. Sis. And then he turned to start foraging through the box. But also thinking about what he said. After a few moments, he called out toward the back.]

But if you can't find it, it's no biggie! It can turn up later, right? And if I have some of those friends here I don't remember... [Something he was presumably brief on in Day 1] I should make sure they can recognize me, no?
