action !!!!
[There is a very young boy sitting on a tree stump with a pair of scissors in hand a broken mirror resting on his lap. What may strike someone odd could be the fact the boy looks somewhat thin (a little starved, even- I mean look at that ribcage) or maybe it could be that his hair, a very pretty light blonde color, is so long that it pools around his feet and the stump itself.
A pair of wings, white with blue tips, poke out from in between long locks of hair. It looks like he is getting ready to give himself a haircut with the way he's looking at himself in the mirror and how he's holding those scissors to his hair.]
One less thing to worry about...

If you cut your wings things could get very messy. [Though it sounds like a mild warning at best]

He looks back over at her before hesitating and nodding, holding out the scissors for her.] Alright.

How short do you wish it?

And there are worse things to worry about here. [This said after a moment of thought]

here is your novel
He woke up not too long ago in this world. Did it seem strange to him? This time, yes, considering he couldn't recall Mokona going through the process of teleporting them out of Tokyo. In fact, they couldn't have left yet since they didn't retrieve the feather. And Syaoran...
No--was it Syaoran? He wasn't sure anymore. He was acting strangely and even attacked him. But he had to worry about that later. Finding out where he was and where Sakura and the others were was more important.
As he walked around, he realized this place was filled with a strange sensation. Magic poured out of different people in different quantities but, behind it all, there was a familiar sensation. One he hadn't felt in hundreds of years. One that faded along with a precious life he once knew. And he followed it through the village, through the trees and people to find himself here, standing before a young child with scissors and a broken mirror.
A child with the image of someone who's last appearance is forever engraved into his mind as it was once his own... and once his brother's.
His body shriveled and so skinny that his bones are being pressed against his skin with hardly any muscle in between, blonde, unkept hair that flows down to his legs and bright blue eyes that shine despite the body's state and possess more magic than anyone except for Yuui.
Fai.
It seemed impossible. To just find his twin brother sitting upon a stump as if he was never even dead. Is it possible that this is another version of his brother, like they have come across so many for different people in each world? It was likely, especially since Fai's body is at rest still in Seresu but...
It's all too real, the image he sees before him and the magic--the oh so familiar and unmistakable magic pooling from this boy... no, he wants to believe it was real. That his brother is truly alive right in front of him. That this isn't some double... like Sakura is. But he can't keep his guard up.
Surprise and hope both have control over him.
He kneels down, almost unaware of his actions, and brushes the hair out of the boy's face. His voice almost carries a tone of uncertainty and it even shakes slight when he manages to speak just one word:]
...Fai?
im so glad
Yet when he woke up here he almost didn't recognize his brother's presence. This place was a melting pot of magical users and he couldn't yet wrap his head around all of it at once. One thing at a time, Fai he told himself.
Just as he was about to reach up and start cutting away he felt it. Not even a beat had passed before the scissors dropped from his fingers as suddenly he was presented with his brother's face. If it were not for the fact he could feel him there, recognize him as his one and true brother, he would almost doubt this was his twin. He was older, certainly, but all hesitation disappeared as he stared back up into Yuui's eyes as his own began to fill with tears.]
Yuui! [Differences be damned he knew this was his twin. Nothing made sense anymore, but questions could be asked later. Fai threw himself at Yuui, wrapping his thin arms around his neck as tears spilled over his cheeks. The mirror fell from his lap and landed somewhere his feet, but he didn't notice.]

This... truly is his brother--his twin brother. Though small, fragile and weak, he can now tell that much with what little focus he's forcing himself to have while the rest of his mind races for answers. This is no clone, not a fake. This is Fai. The real Fai. How this is the real Fai? He doesn't know, but he isn't going to complain or question it. Perhaps later, but not now.
His wish has finally been granted.
His eyes begin to water and he quickly wraps his arms around the small child, one hand coming to rest on his head and the other on his back as he holds him close.]

Shoulder still shaking, his little wings fluttering and disrupting long locks of hair, he pulls away just enough to look at Yuui. He kept his grip on his shirt, as if he let go Yuui would disappear. Tear streaks outlined his face, but despite that he managed a smile for him. Releasing one hand he reached up to touch Yuui's cheek.]
You've grown up.

Fai may find that Yuui's cheeks are just as wet as his own. The tears won't stop overflowing, he can't stop them, he can't escape them after holding them in for so long.
"You've grown up."
His heart pangs with guilt.
Unable to find any words to say, he simply nods and puts on a forced smile to try and match his brother's. Inwardly, he's in pain, the guilt of his past choice slowly eating away at him the more he stares at his brother's degenerated face, cheek bones and all so visible, and repeats his words to himself in his head.
I've only grown because I sacrificed you to free myself.]
no subject
Oh well. Fai's smile disappeared briefly as he considered something. His gaze moved away from Yuui's as he scanned the ground for something.]
Ah... Yuui?
no subject
What is it?
no subject
Can you cut my hair?
no subject
Yes, I can. But perhaps we should do it indoors, where it's warmer and less windy. [Not that it's a tornado outside but it just makes things easier. Plus, he has to make sure he stays warm] There's a building not too far from here that accepts strangers without a home, so I've heard.
no subject
He was starting to get excited by the idea. Maybe they had blankets... and pillows...
Then his stomach rumbled loudly and a nearby bird flew away because of it (probably). Fai's face flushed and he sighed. He really needed to calm down.]
no subject
[He lets out a light chuckle when his tummy growls and pets the younger boy's head gently. Who can blame him for being so excited about these things? After being trapped in a place filled with nothing but death and a cold breeze for who knows how long.... these things were something he had dreamed of too when he was trapped in that tower as a child.
It all was like an unreachable dream back then... but now he's going to make sure Fai gets it all. He wants him to be happy.] We'll get you something to eat too.
no subject
Have you eaten yet? [His wings twitch and Fai remembers their presence now. Another question to ask later.]
no subject
No, I haven't. [He was too focused on finding the source of his brother's magic to do much aside from find out where he is and get all of the necessary information.]
no subject
What had his life been like after he left that pit? Had it been a good one? Was he happy?
When picked up he wraps his arms around Yuui's neck, settling his face in the crook of his neck. There was a small part of him that wished he could have grown up with him, but he quelled the thought instantly.]
