FAQ
Who can post?
Any character that a player (currently in the game or not) is thinking about apping in. This includes characters they dropped in the past and would like to re-app!
...Mostly. We can't allow AUs, genderbent, future, etc. Basically, any character that can be apped (ie. that the rules wouldn't exclude) can post.
Who can't post?
Characters currently in the game. That's what the game is for, after all!
Do I have to make my post like an intro post?
Not at all! You might want to save that for when the character is actually in the game, after all. Feel free to act as if your character has already been 'in Luceti' for a while, if that's what you want to do.
What kinds of posts are allowed?
If it's allowed in Luceti, it's allowed in here, so go ahead and make a Voice, Action, Written, Video, or Filtered post, or any combination of the above. This is "Luceti", after all. Just be sure to indicate what sort of entry it is so there's no confusion.
When making a post, be sure to include in it the following information. This is required. (The information can also be found on the profile.)
Additionally, there are tags to consider, but if you don't put them up one of the mods will. Look at other posts on the comm to get an idea how to put them up. Additionally, you might check out the livejournal version of this comm which did not have its entries imported.
Who can comment to entries?
Any character! ...Mostly. Like it says above, we can't allow AUs, genderbent, future, etc. Basically, any character that can be apped (ie. that the rules wouldn't exclude) can comment. this includes (and in fact we encourage) people currently in the game or perhaps dropped characters.
Additionally, characters currently in the game can comment to and thread with any post they want! After all, what fun is a dressing room if you can't test your new character's voice with people in real games?
Can I use these entries for application samples?
Yes you can! For a first person sample as long as it's relatively contemporary to when you're apping and there's ample length thread(s). Basically, you need at least ten comments from your character. You may also link threads in Test Drive Memes for this purpose.
