the luceti test drive meme

Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Jade the Necromancer looks at the coffins with a bored curiosity. From what he knows about how death works here, even if he won't believe it for sure just yet, no body would be around long enough to require any coffins.

He kicks at one dully and shrugs his arms before complaining loudly.]

My, someone seems to have made a delivery to the wrong world. These must have been intended to be shipped to some forsaken planet where death actually matters.

[ The coffin will laugh lightly at that kick. It's inner contents stirring awake. He totally didn't fall asleep inside that coffin, nope. He was just testing it out is all and it was incredibly comfy. The top lid will slide slowly back, revealing a very odd sight indeed. The Undertake will cover his mouth with his long sleeved arm and laugh a little. ] Gufufu. Death is always a matter. Even if it's not permanent. Would you like to try out a coffin? I've made plenty for any guests who might wait around long enough to use them.

[Jade takes a step back cautiously when he hears the laugh and then scrutinizes the figure within. He has to determine whether this person is friend or foe, but the coffin-sleeping habits are not a good start. Jade remains alert but addresses the figure with his usual trolly smile.]

I'm afraid that when the period of absence goes from eternity to a week, it's hard to consider it much of a matter at all. And I'll have to pass on that offer; I find the beds around here are already coffin-like enough for my tastes.

A curious thing that is. Gufu. But I will not hold it against my guests to leave so shortly after their passing. A good bed to lay in is rather important, even when you're only resting for but awhile. [ And Here the Undertaker will make a small flourish of his arm, directing it towards the enclosure as a whole. ]

But, ah, it is a fascinating spectacle indeed. The dead rising without the need to worry about being...soulless.

Your guests, you say? I take it you fancy yourself as some proprietor of the afterlife. [He gives an apathetic shrug.] Well, we all have our hobbies.

I'd say souls are overrated. I like to think I've been doing just fine without one all these years.
