Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Maybe. But I like going through the kitchens. [Besides, it makes it easier to keep an eye out for Hot Pie, if his stupid self ever arrives here.] Why do you care, anyway?

[Okay, he's got her there. Can't really argue with that. She folds her arms over her chest, scowling.]

So why aren't you known for being nice, anyway?

[Okay, so he's never actually done that. But he might. If he had a good reason.]

[She's played this game before plenty of times. Arya's eyes narrow. Even Nymeria lifts her head to give Jack a suspicious look.]

You're lying.

[Good. Because this is his favorite game.]

What kind of guy would lie about orphans?

[Still unimpressed.]

One who isn't a very good liar.

Are your parents around?

[aryaunderfoot]

[The only thing that's letting her keep a straight face is the practice she's had with this lying game back home. That, and pretending her parents were other people.]

Not here, no.

So you're basically an orphan. [Her parents were in some other time locked world. Good enough for him.] Want to test whether I'm lying or not? I've got some matches. There's no orphanages, but any burning building will do.

[aryaunderfoot]

[And just like that, Nymeria has dropped her chunk of meat, sprung to her paws, and rushed forward, all bristling fur and snapping jaws. But she stops just short of actually attacking Jack, her jaws snapping barely an inch from his nose. A deep growl rumbles from her throat.

And Arya hangs back, calmly watching her direwolf, arms folded. She can call the beast off, but she's not all that inclined to right now.]

Fire doesn't scare me. I've escaped a few before.

[Okay, Jack is not liking this wolf. But he manages to keep from reacting, even as he deals with the hot breath in his face. Shit.]

Tell your wolf to back off, kid. I know a big bad wolf that makes yours look like a chihuahua. I'd hate to accidentally hurt your pup.

[Arya doesn't say anything for a moment, just letting Nymeria's growls grow louder. And then, once she's satisfied with her counter-threat, Arya clucks her tongue.]

Nymeria. To me.

[And Nymeria turns away with one last snap, going back to stand at Arya's side. Nevermind that the wolf is slightly taller than her.]

Good doggie. [Jack relaxes a little. Oh yes, he tensed up. He hates beasties like that.]

You need to learn to take a joke, kiddo.

[If that's his idea of a joke, then Arya is becoming increasingly sure that this guy is related to the Lannisters somehow. That seems like an almost Imp-like sense of humor.]

It wasn't a very funny joke.
