Oh! There is a river here, yeah. Just east of me a little bit.

Okay, good, that's a start. It's running north-south?

[Okay, so now she knows where he is, more or less.]

[Well it's running from one direction to another anyway... maybe it's north, he doesn't know. Gonna just... hope that it is.]

[Naruto, if you know it's east of you, then hopefully you know where north and south are. Is she going to have to search this whole enclosure?

[He knows it's east of him, not if it is actually east or not.. but yeah. He knws the best thing to do is just sit in this spot and wait for someone to show up.]

[Fortunately, she does manage to find him pretty quickly -- with a river to the east of him, there's limited areas where he could be, and she's explored the forest a fair bit, looking for training areas and for any herbs or medicinal plants she can find.

So have a teammate, Naruto. Oh, and she looks a little different - that pink hair is currently reddish-black with some bright red highlights. She decided to change up her look a bit thanks, Lee.]

[He's quite happily laying on the ground, finally sitting up once he hears her approach, grinning widely once she's there- it's been a while since they've seen each other properly.]

Ahh! You look- [He almost said weird, not necessarily in a bad way, though he still skips it because that would just earn him a punch probably.] ...Different!

[If his first words to her when they see each other are 'you look weird' she'd punch the stripes right off his face.

Ha, now that you're here, they've probably stocked up on ramen just so you'll be taken care of. [Either that or there will never be any because the Malnosso are jerks like that.] I could use some lunch!

I don't know! Maybe, they're good at making things pop up like that. Kankuro showed up, and bits of his puppets did at the same time, so maybe the same will hold true. You never know!

[Hearing him lilt her voice in that familiar, cheerful rhythm lifts her heart; Naruto sounds so cheerful, in a way that he hasn't in far too long, by her estimation.]

Kankuro...? Oh! That guy. [Yeah doesn't really give a damn if he got puppet bits, he's more concerned about ramen tbh. But it does remind him of something else...]

What about clothes? Those guys stole all my stuff, I can't walk around just looking like this!

Sure you can, at least as far as the clothing shop. At least it's not winter anymore! [She's still pissed about that, by the way. Thanks, Malnosso.]

Yeah yeah, but will they have something there like the clothes I normally wear? Why did they take it off anyway, bunch of perverts!

Well, they weren't going to stick wings on you through a jacket!

[Although really, she agrees with him. Bunch of perverts, stripping people like that!]

Usually they'll have something of yours ready. But if they don't, I'm sure we can find something orange that'll fit you!

[Oh yeah, the wings! Excuse him a sec going to try and look behind him to get a proper look at them... though ending up just going around in a full circle kind of like a dog trying to catch its own tail]

What's with these things anyway? One of the others said you can't even do anything with them. If I have to cut holes in all of my clothes just for these stupid things I'm gonna be mad!

[Okay, that was really kind of funny, and she can't help giggling at him as he spins in a circle.]

Apparently they're pretty important to your health, so don't hurt them. I've done some checking and they seemed to be tapped pretty deeply into our chakra systems, so keep that in mind.

[And she turns to show him her back; no holes, just a bit of bulginess where her wings are folded tightly against her back under her shirt.]

They fold up pretty well, though, once you get used to the feeling. It's a little cramped, that's all.

Why do we have wings that we can't use but are gonna be a pain if we do anything to them. I don't get it. [HUFF.]

Neither do I. But it's through them that you'll understand other people here, and apparently there's some kind of native magic that you can use because of them. I haven't looked into it yet, though.

[But that's not really a good enough trade-off for having their bodies messed with like this.]

Mostly I just try to ignore them.

[She smiles resignedly, flipping a hand at him.]

You'll see. It'll help when they stop being sore; they start to feel normal pretty quickly.

Not really much of anything, actually... a little medical work when it's needed, a bit of training...
