[The airwaves crackle before they screech and then a female voice can be heard faintly.] Um, I'm not sure where I am, but can anyone hear me? I was in the middle of a battle and now I'm not entirely sure what's going on here?

[A pause.] Also, the wings? What in the world are those?

[Another pause, this time uncomfortable.] And...who changed my clothes?

[Oddly enough, hearing his voice is a bit reassuring.]

A-another world? [She gives a thoughtful pause, since Lee-san is a truthful person. Therefore, it must be the truth.] Do the wings serve a purpose?

[Good logic. Lee always says the truth... even if it comes out in the oddest ways. And he's glad to see her again too, so he's smiling even as he's revealing all those things.]

Yes. I am sorry to say that this is a world that takes people from all different times and places. As for the wings - do not try to fly! Or harm them. They are very sensitive, and they keep us alive here. Otherwise... Their purpose is unknown.

[So, she's confused still. The wings don't really have a purpose?]

Are there others here as well, Lee-san? [She tries not to get her hopes up. Really, she wouldn't be that lucky, would she?]

Ah... yes, in fact there are! You will find Kiba-kun, a majority of your graduating class, and even... ah.

[He pauses for a moment as he realizes the difficult point. He was about to mention his entire team was here, but that reminded him of the pain all over again. It would be difficult to tell her, that Neji is here. ...Also Asuma.]

Kiba-kun is here? Is Shino-kun here as well? And Kurenai-sensei?

[Her voice is strained, but she presses on.] Is there something else you are trying to tell me, Lee-san?

[Pause...]

[She will deal with this. She will. Neji is Neji, regardless of...that.]

[Okay, so her voice is a little wobbly, but she's doing this. Although, it's taking her longer to gather her thoughts.]

A-Asuma-sensei?

He would be happy to see you, too. [Skipping ahead in time to pretend Lee's already canon updated and Neji already knows. Lee feels Neji would value extra time with Hinata especially.]

Y-yes. [He says with a difficult nod.] He is here with his entire team, as if... as if no such fate befell him.

[She's fighting tears, but she can do this. Any time spent with Neji is extra, and therefore special.]

I am glad that both Neji-nii-san and Asuma-sensei are with us again.

I am grateful for their presence as well. As bad as things can get in this world... I would like to continue to be able to be here with them as long as it is possible.

That is a nice sentiment, Lee-san, but it is hardly practical. However, I share that with you. I would like to spend as much time with Neji-nii-san and Asuma-sensei as is possible.

[It's Hinata! Aang missed her. But the way she's talking... It doesn't sound like she'll remember him. He frowns, but he address her anyway.]

[A stranger? But he sounds nice, so it must be okay, even if he sounds like he knows her for some reason.]

That's okay - it's my fault. I should've introduced myself first. My name's Aang, and I've been stuck here, too. There's a whole village of us who're stuck here from different worlds. I just wanna do my best to help you adjust.

[There are a few pops and crackles as the audio is fiddled with, evidently.]

A whole village? Are there any hostiles there?

You should try to find landmarks or something. Are you in the forest?

Kind of... There's some people around here who are kinda bad, but they don't really do much here. Cuz they're stuck like the rest of us. There's a barrier keeping us in this place... and outside the barrier, there's a war.

[The transmission squawks as she drops her microphone and looks around. There is a lot of bumping as she moves around before it is picked up again.]

I am in a cabin in the middle of a forest clearing. I cannot tell how far away I am. My bloodline trait will not activate.

[She gives an explosive sigh.]

A barrier keeping us prisoner? Is it a form of genjutsu? Ninjutsu?

A cabin, huh? That's okay, I think I might know where that is. If you look through the book, there should be a Guide on one of the pages. It has a map, and explains some things about this place more clearly.

I think it's just science. I don't know if any ninjas made it.

[She shuffles through papers and comes back to the microphone.]

Well, that is convenient. I suppose that I shall be joining the rest of you soon. And it's science? Why is it that I never year anything good about scientists?

It is easy to miss if you don't know to look for it.

I don't know. Are scientists mean to you a lot? They like to call lots of people wrong. [Although right now he's using Sokka as his primary source.]

There are scientists where I'm from, but...I haven't had the pleasure of meeting them. However, the stories that have come to light from some of them are...[She pauses as she thinks of the right word to say.]...horrendous.

I- I see. I don't know why people use science so badly. But the scientists here, the Malnosso... it's hard to tell what they think of us. They say they're stuck here like us and trying to find a way home, but they keep us locked in here and their experiments can make weird things happen to us or this area. Sometimes it can be in funny or nice ways, but... a lot of the time it's not.

I'm not certain either, but it sounds like the scientists here do not intend to damage us. However, I don't think they are serious about finding a way home. It doesn't sound that way to me.

Hinata! Those perverts got you too!?

N-Naruto-kun? You're here too?

[No, her voice does not sound happy about that. Not at all. Okay, so, maybe a little.]

Yeah, I just got here too Hinata!

Oh, well, that is...[the best thing ever, convenient, wonderful]...good! The more comrades we have, the better, yes?

Yeah! Since we can be here however long we want and it doesn't matter back in the war.

[There is silence over the airwaves before sobbing is heard and the transmission is cut.]

[The transmission comes back on after a few minutes of silence.]

I am sorry, Naruto-kun. The last thing I remember is Neji-nii-san and myself coming to your aid before the Juubi attacked you.

[Her voice isn't loud, but it's steady and that's all she can hope for as she answers.]

[Ah.. yeah, he remembers that pretty vividly.]

Well Hinata, you know that doesn't matter here right? 'Cause Asuma-sensei's here and he's all fine and not dead, so maybe it'll be the same for Neji too!

[She's still struggling to try and keep from crying again, to keep going, especially if Neji is here.]

Lee-san said that both of them are here, yes. I look forward to meeting them again.

[Trying to cheer her up a bit. Neji's ok here, so everything's fine.]

A-ah, okay.

[It's worked, in a way. She's not focused on the last moment she saw Neji. And there is always the prospect of seeing Naruto-kun outside of the battle field.]

I just need to figure out where I am exactly. Aang-san said something about a map and I have found it, but I am experiencing issues getting my bearing straight without my byakugan.

{Oh, hey. There's a voice he hasn't heard in awhile. She may or may not hear some happy barking in the background. He'll try and track her down soon enough]

[She lets out a happy sound that could be mistaken for a squeak.]

Kiba-kun! And Akamaru-san? Are you well? Lee-san said that you were here, but I'm still uncertain as to where here is exactly. And if that was a welcoming committee, I'm sure my aunt could teach them the proper rules.

Well, Shino isn't here. ...Not like you'd have to worry about him anyway. He kind of flew beneath everyone's radar while he bothered to stick around.

[And then he was gone.]

But yeah, that'd be it. Sometimes you come back with memories and sometimes you don't.

[She frowns at Kiba's attitude. She is sure that there is something she's missed.]

Did something happen between you and Shino-kun while he was here, Kiba-kun? [Because, she's confused.]

How many times have I been here then? [And did she do anything embarrassing?]

Nah. He just left without saying goodbye, is all.

[Jerk.

He frowns at the next question, though it's invisible over the feed.]

We arrived here at the same time. You left once, then came back again. Then left. You've probably been here before that, but I wasn't around. Or can't remember it.

Oh. [Her voice is very relieved and a sigh is heard over the airwaves. The thought of Kiba-kun and Shino-kun not getting along is pretty distressing.] Perhaps he didn't have an opportunity before he left?

[It's her time to frown, unseen, as she listens to his explanation of the situation.]

I'm sorry that I seem unable to stay here, Kiba-kun. I hope that you're not angry. [With her, that is...]
