[Toboe's spent the past few weeks being overwhelmed while learning about Luceti, how he managed to get here in the first place, and what the heck was he doing with wings. The poor kid needs a break eventually, so instead of searching out his packmates or exploring the village, he'll be perched in a tree. Climbing up was pretty tough, but his goal was to try out these new wings of his.]

[He takes a deep breath, watching the ground for a moment, before leaping forward...

...and crashing face first into the ground. He groans in pain, hoping no one was around to see this.]

[Sorry, Toboe, there was indeed someone around to see it. Two someones, if you count the massive direwolf at the girl's side. Apparently they were walking past at just the right moment. Arya is rather suddenly reminded of her little brother Bran and the time they'd tried to make him stop climbing by throwing a boy made of pottery off a tower. Maybe it's that memory that makes her go over and hold out a hand to help the boy up, her wolf hanging back and watching warily.]

Stupid. Didn't anyone tell you yet that you can't fly with those wings? [Appraising look.] Does anything feel broken?

No one told me anything about them! Why would we have wings if we can't use them for anything?

[...And as he's being helped up, he spots a wolf that would make him look like a poodle in size. More importantly, there's other wolves here? He glances at the direwolf, distracted as Arya asks her second question.]

N-no, nothing's broken. Just sore.

[Arya nods, satisfied that nothing is broken. That's not something she's comfortable trying to fix.]

I don't know, but they don't work. Someone said you could hover with them, but nobody can fly.

[She does notice his distraction, though, and glances over her shoulder at her direwolf. The wolf's ears are perked forward, head tilted to one side, curious. Arya gives a small frown and glances back at the boy.]

She won't bite, if that's what you're worried about.

I'm not worried about biting! It's just nice to see more wolves around here, that's all.

[aryaunderfoot]

[Oh, good, he's not going to freak out over the direwolf. It's a nice change of pace. She hasn't seen someone so relaxed around Nymeria so quickly since her brothers.]

There don't seem to be too many. And Nymeria's the only direwolf that I've seen. But she's always looking for any other wolves she can play with.

[Speaking of, the direwolf pads closer, sniffing.]
