[If anyone is out and about today, they will spy one young lavender haired man coming into the village wearing the usual new arrival attire. What exactly is he doing? Walking around taking in his surroundings of course, before sitting down somewhere to examine the journal in his hands at first. After taking a few minutes to examine it, he then decided to find a location with better clothing, as he feels rather naked being in only a pair of white pants. So now he's walking around the main village area while trying to figure out what's going on while possibly bumping into other characters along the way. Since really? A journal? Little clothes? And wings? What kind of place has he found himself in?]

[Trunks gives his mother a small smile before hugging her gently, making sure not to crush her body. Since you know, super saiyan strength. It has been a while since he hugged his mother, but he's glad to share this moment with her.]

Yeah, I'm a good boy... For the most part. But I've grown up quite a lot from how I was when I was younger, I even traveled with Goku and his granddaughter Pan into space for a year.

[Super saiyan strength indeed, and that's why she has no qualms in how tightly she hugs back, because she needs it and he can take it. It's the good thing about having children with a super strong alien, they won't mind momma bear hugs as much beyond being embarrassed.]

Thank you, love. Mom needed this.

[She gives him a small kiss on the cheek as they part, hands going to caress the sides of his face as she looks at him. She sighs slightly defeated.]

Gosh, you really have grown up, look at you, you're basically an adult! It's so unfair, both your sister and you are so old here, and I haven't had the chance to even have you yet back home.

Ah, right, your sister and your father are here. I would ask if you know your sister but I doubt Goku ever got to have a grandkid in the other future.

[Not to mention that traveling through space with a dead man is difficult.]

[He continues smiling and letting Bulma's hands caress the sides of his face, though he is slightly blushing. He doesn't mind since it's his mother after all and he loves her dearly.]

I'm twenty eight almost twenty nine now, mother. I'll be thirty soon, which I still can't believe. [He blinks a little bit.] They are? Um, are either of them younger like you are?

Wha- You're almost my age already?!

[She sighs.]

Guess there goes wanting to pamper my kids here... Oh well, this means we can go drink together at least!

[No, Bulma, don't do that. She giggles at his question.]

Bulla is a teen, I'm going to make a wild guess and say that she's from around your time since she told me you were the president of the company already. Your father... Probably the same. You have no idea how shocking it was to see a Vegeta that actually looks at me for more than to demand new training machines.

So... I guess the only one who's wrong is me. Oh, Son-kun is from earlier too, I'm not even sure if he knows Bulla back home.

Yeah, I guess I am. [He blushes slightly.] I don't feel my age though.

[He then takes in all of what Bulma says and shakes his head when she says she's wrong.]

Mom... You might be younger, but you're still my mother and I care about you. That won't ever change and nothing is wrong about that.

You and me both, Trunks. Fortunately for you I still plan to pamper you as much as a mother can pamper their adult son without embarrassing him in front of others. I won't make any promises about when no one is watching, though.

[And the teasing isn't included in that, of course.]

Aren't you sweet? Thanks, love, I'm happy that you still consider me your mother. I'll do my best to be a good one, be patient with me, okay? Learning to be a mother and then the mother of an grown up buy all at the same time isn't going to be easy.

[dhjfhdh Bulma, why must you tease your son so?]

Thanks, mom. And don't worry, I'll be sure to help you out. I don't mind us spending time together though, so you can get to know me better too.

[It runs in the family, be glad that she's not as bad as her parents were with her. She will never ask you or Bulla to bring her a new boyfriend.]

[Pause.]

Well, now that you're dressed, how is your stomach? Want mom to prepare you something? Or we could eat together at the restaurant.

[Vegeta would flip out if Bulma asked Bulla to bring a boyfriend, maybe Trunks too. But now that she mentions it, he is pretty hungry right now, that saiyan appetite never dies.]

Yeah, I'm pretty hungry. And I don't want to make you work mom, we can go to a restaurant. It'll be my treat to you.

Brave words for the guy that was half-naked until not long ago. Do you even know what currency is used here?

[She will be surprised if he does. Mostly because there's no currency.]

Well when I went into space, the planets I went to still took money from Earth. So this place must be the same way, right?

[Even if he's kind of unsure about that.]

[She raises an eyebrow.]

Oh, I see...

[A pause as she looks at him, one finger pressed against her lips as she thinks.]

Soooo... Am I supposed to assume that at the lack of pockets and foreseeing you would be stripped from your clothes you hid your wallet in your crotch?

[And then she looks down with a humming sound as if studying the area in question in search for signs of a hidden wallet.]

Doesn't look too bulgy to me, so either they changed your underwear and took the wallet as well or height is the only thing you've grown up in. Because you're a boy, right?

[Looking at him curiously and innocently, no she didn't say anything wrong. And then as an after thought.]

You're not going to try to pay by trade, right? Because the only think you have in you right now is... Well, yourself. And your clothes. I guess we could give them your clothes, I'm sure saiyans have a special system that protects them from getting colds so they can keep fighting.

[Bulma your son is just watching you and wondering what it is you're thinking.]

Um... I... Ermm... [He might be blushing a bit, unsure of what to say at first to all of that. He hadn't thought of how to handle this situation, but then he does get an idea.]

I'll get a job here, so I can make money as I did back home.

[She's just being a bit horrible with him. His decision makes her smile.]

Really... I can't believe how wonderful you and your sister are.

[Perfect babies. Her perfect babies. She's single and without kids at her time but just talking with them and getting to know them makes her glow with pride and love.]

Don't worry, honey, there's no currency here so everything is free.

[D'aww mom, he loves you too. But hearing her say how wonderful he and Bulla are, then hearing there's no currency make him blush even redder.]

Mom, you could have told me that sooner. I'm ready to work and then you tell me everything is free.

[Yeah, he feels like shriveling into a corner from embarrassment.]

If I had told you I wouldn't have been able to see how well you think and improvise in an unknown place, nor how responsible you are. I am almost thirty years behind in knowledge about you, Trunks, I need to catch up quickly.

[And she just wanted to troll you a bit. It's the power of a mother's love. Have a hand caressing you.]

You have no idea how happy I am right now with knowing that I'm going to be blessed this much.

[She doubts either of her children know exactly how terrible her love life had been up until... Until Trunks was a kid? From the way the Vegeta that had the kid as a baby was it didn't seem as if things would improve much even after Trunks was born. She herself isn't sure how bad it's going to be exactly but she has a good general idea, and for a woman who has only dreamed about marrying and having a family it's going to be quite hard.]

Besides, it's a good thing you're ready to work. Even if you train with your father I'm sure you're going to end wanting to find a job or something to do to kill time. This place makes spending a weekend on Son-kun's house an exciting adventure!

[She's a city girl, it's reasonable that she would find Goku's home boring even if they have a television.]

[Trunks puts his hand gently on Bulma's in return, a smile covering his expression now.]

Yeah, I'll train with father and do work on the side. I do wonder if there's any places that need someone who is both a genius with technology and a business CEO.

I'm afraid you may have better luck finding something to do as a mass of muscles. But who knows, you may have better luck than me and at the very least I know of a woman who would love to talk and maybe even work with you to build things while you're here.

[Her of course, bonding with Bulla while shopping and doing so with Trunks while talking about technology and work. It sounds like a good plan to her.]

Really? I'd love to meet her, mom. I'm sure I could help her with any projects she's looking to build.

[Does Trunks sound excited? Yeah, he does.]

I'm sure of it. Actually this makes me wonder... How is the capsule production going on in your time? Have you improved the design and construction of them? With the current level of my technology transforming things into capsules is quite taxing in this place. If you guys managed to simplify the system we could have a chance even if the materials are harder to get.

[And now she's in full business mode, great.]

We've still kept to the designs similar to how they used to be, but improved greatly on them and made simplified. We're still building spaceships and cars, but they're twenty times better than how they used to be. We've expanded many of the departments in the company too on top of becoming partners with smaller companies or ones seeking partnerships with us. The paperwork is a bit of a hassle and so are the board meetings, though at times I don't mind them. Since they usually end up with the board fighting among themselves over profits or zenny stock prices.

[Yeah, he's CEO mode now.]

Oh, I hate those meetings. Sure they usually end with just that but you can't be careless or they will try to pull a fast one on you by trying to get enough stocks to have a bigger say in the company. I hope neither you nor future me have gotten stupid enough to let the stockholders ever get more than the forty nine percent of our stocks.

[Most of them are just fools concerned with just quick and big money, letting them have bigger power on the company would lead it to the ruin pretty quickly. She looks completely delighted as she talks though, happy to have someone to talk with about those things and about learning how the company does in the future.]

What about the project for capsules for living creatures for protection and easier transportation? Did it ever get anywhere? Last I know it was mostly still being discussed among the board regarding if it should be allowed or not and with capsules exploding unable to hold the animals for more than three minutes.

[It was a tricky issue. On one hand the idea of being able to encapsulate living beings as if they were objects posed many moral questions. On the other it could be a great advance allowing medic teams to retrieve and carry wounded people easily and without fearing to increase the damage. Encapsulating dead bodies wasn't difficult with those machines they had built to keep the corpses in optimal state -ideal for when resurrecting people- but if the person was alive the capsule ended exploding and releasing the machine and the person, making it unable to be used effectively for now.]

You gave me that same advice when I became president in the company, mom. It seems you in my time kept the same mind set as you do now.

[Though when she asks the next questions, he's a little unsure how to answer at first. But then remembers the last time he went into a meeting and discussed it with the scientists.]

That idea is still being developed slowly as we're running into the same problems as you mentioned. But we're still trying to make it a reality, it's taking longer than we expected however.

That's right, anything I have to say or offer are things you probably have already heard, right? I'm sorry.

[Because she will still say those things, because it doesn't matter to her that she will say them one day, she hasn't said them and thus she can't consider them her words. And so Trunks and Bulla are bound to hear many things they already know by heart, it's their fault for being from the future though.]

I figured it would take a long time for it to work, though I'm glad the project won't be canceled. It will be a great advance and benefit once it works. Hmm... Things we learn here don't make it back home with us, but maybe we can study that matter here, maybe some other world has managed to develop said technology. Even if we are bound to forget, maybe subconsciously you will be able to redo the study once you're back and help the project.

If what you say is true, then I hope that's the case. I'd like to remember the time I spent here and the knowledge I've obtained even if it's buried deep into my subconscious.
