Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Jake sounds almost amuse that he's talking to her.] Sorry to say, but I haven't seen your big brother around here.

were she in a lighter, jokier mood she might have opted for a reply that riffed off her supposed fame. but her mood is neither light nor joking. ] And you are?

[The son of some batshit scientist that wanted to rule the world. Nah, that's probably not a good way to start this.]

A friend of Sherry's. She talked a lot about you, what you did back in Raccoon City.

[ surprise, certainly. maybe even delight. it's hard to hide the sound of a smile from her voice. but... ]

Is she here? [ and if so, should claire be glad? this place seems almost...restful, in comparison. ]

[Well that quickly went in a different direction.]

Haven't seen her either. And believe me I've been checking around.

[He doesn't know how to feel about her not being here himself. On one hand it might be for the best she's not, on the other she's all by herself back home, and they were kind of in the middle of something pretty damn important.]

[ although she's far from spouting such clichés as a friend of sherry's is a friend of mine, she does find herself strangely comforted by finding common ground with a stranger.

give her a few more minutes and she may remember that strangers were hardly often good news. but for now, her guard is lowered. she isn't nearly so combative when she asks again for his name: ] You already know who I am. Been here a day, already want out of this hellhole. [he flips through the journal, looking for said guide.]

There's no way out, that's all that guide is telling us when it comes down to it. So we better get comfy and do what these Malnosso jerks tell us. [he stops flipping through the pages.]

Pain in the ass, this is.

[ and oh, what little patience she has for corporate bossiness. the malnosso's organization sounds just a little too much like something else. ]

The weird thing is how...okay with it all the long-timers seem to be. They accept it. [ it's tragic. ]

All the more reason why I want out. [While he's confident he won't fall for the same trap, he rather not have to deal with that temptation]

If we can all get here, then we can all get out. Just got to find where they hide the exit.

[ she's just not certain confidence is enough to get the job done. ]

[a small pause.] So what about you? Want to become like the rest of the crowd, or do you want to actually do something about it?

[ she might not be so kind if she knew who he was. at least, not at first. claire is a firm believer in letting people stand or fall on their own merits, but wesker hadn't just trampled all over her brother's mission but his very existence defies everything that she and terrasave work towards. and that's not even mentioning all of the personal terror he'd inflicted upon both redfields. such grudges are hard to overcome, even for fair-minded individuals like claire.

for now, though? she's pleased to hear from a friend of sherry's -- though she's biding her time before she demands exactly how jake had gotten through the official house arrest to meet her. ]

Of course I want to do something about it. All that's wanting is a firm plan of action.
