Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[ Oh, that's Mytho's voice! It's always so nice when she has dreams about him.

[ WAIT NO NOT A DREAM, SHE'S AWAKE. She thinks. She hopes she's awake, at least. Duck jumps to her feet with a mixture of surprise and delight. ]

Qua-- [ She slaps a hand over her mouth before taking a deep breath. That was a close one! ] Mytho!

[lemminged]

[And he just keeps on peering blankly at her.]

Yes.

[ducked]

[ Okay. Okayokayokay. Mytho's here. That's a good thing, right? If they were some place where Drosselmeyer and the Raven weren't, then that was good! Prob...ably. ]

Oh - did you come to look at the storybooks here, too?

[lemminged]

[He shifts his head in a way that resembles a shaking of his head. And he peers in the direction the nearest bookcase, as if expecting his target to suddenly be there.]

I thought that... Fakir might be here...

[ducked]

[ She frowns, wishing she could give him better news on that count. ]

I don't think he's here. At least...I haven't found him yet...

[ Oh! ]

Maybe we can look for Fakir together!

[lemminged]

[He gives a slight nod.]

Okay...

Duck, do you think that Rue's here, too...?

[ducked]

[ Duck looks around for good measure for anything Rue-shaped, but she doesn't see her. She hadn't seen any trace of her either, buuuuuut Duck wasn't exactly sleuthy and Rue could be hard to find at the best of times... ]

I'm not sure, but we better look for her, too! I think she'd want to know that her friends are looking for her.

[lemminged]

She'd like that...

[He says softly as he examines the surroundings, blankly.]

So would Fakir. I'd like to find them...

[ducked]

Me, too! [ She'd like for all of them to be together here, and even more than that, she wants to know that they're safe. She's heard some pretty bad stuff can happen around here... ]

Oookay, it's settled, then! We'll look for Rue and Fakir together. Now, where should we start.... [ If she was Rue and Fakir, where would she be... ]

[lemminged]

[He himself is not particularly used to living without those people he's oddly codependent on. But Duck seems a reliable enough friend for now.]

Yes, Duck. Let's do that together.

[He blinks and looks around some more, still looking quite lost.]

I thought Fakir would be here...

He likes to read.

[ducked]

Yeah... [ A puzzled chini stroke. This would be so much easier if there was a ballet school around here, obviously!! ] Where else do you think he would like to go? Or maybe...he's looking for you! So we just have to go looking where he would look for you! I think...

[ Huff. This was getting confusing. ]

[lemminged]

[Looking for where he was? Well where would he be without Fakir or Rue guiding him somewhere? Just where lived.]

Would he check my bedroom?

[ducked]

You're right, he would!

[ You know, if he knows where Mytho lives. Which of course he would!

But...wait. Duck doesn't actually know that, either. ]

Uh...Mytho? Where is your room?

[Mytho proceeds to walk over to the closest window, opens it, and dangles himself out through it as he points all the way towards Community House 4 - and to a particular window.]

There.

[ducked]

[ Well, at least he didn't fall out this time! ]

Oooh-kay! Let's go, then! Maybe we'll even run into them on our way!

[lemminged]

[He pulls himself back into the room with a graceful step and nods.]

Yes, maybe we will...

Do you think we might also found... Princess Tutu?

[ducked]

[ She only just gets her hand over her mouth that time. ]

O-oh, I don't know, maybe! You know, I don't really know much about her, so I don't know where we'd go to look for her or anything...!

[lemminged]

I see.

[As usual, he pays little mind at all to Duck's behaviors. He barely understands how emotions work, anyways, so anything any person does must just be some other part of normal human behavior.]

If she's here, I think she'll save us. I'd like her to be here.

[ducked]

Ah -

[ Oh, that's so nice to hear. Duck smiles warmly. ]

Don't worry, Mytho! I'm sure if you need her, then she'll be there for you!

[lemminged]

[He gives a soft smile - or at least as close to one as Mytho seems capable of expression.]

I really do! [ FOR REASONS UNDISCLOSED but she seems even more chipper herself now after the mention of Princess Tutu. ]
