Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[SORRY, INO! SHE'S JUST LOOKING! She hasn't picked anything out yet. You can still help her, okok?

And the normal greeting is something that Hinata can deal with. She still wasn't sure where everyone was from and what they did or didn't know.]

Ino-san, hello. And not yet. [She frowns at the clothing on the rack before her.] I preferred my own clothing, to be honest.

[A hand on her hips, she shakes her head.]

You're not serious, are you? There are a lot of cute clothes here! [Gestures to all the clothes on display and up for grabs.] I'm sure you'd find something you like. I mean where can you even find pretty dresses that are free?

[A small flush to her cheeks as she takes in what Ino is saying.]

I-I've never had to, uh, pick out my own clothes. F-from the store, I mean. My aunt took care of that.

[She takes a second look and pulls a dress that is somewhat modest. It looks like this, but with a blue shell and white under shirt.]

W-what do you think of this?

[This expression because GOSH YOU DON'T PICK CLOTHES LIKE A BLIND SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER OKAY.]

Do you honestly want my opinion on that dress? [Because it's going to hurt!]

[Brb will now find you REAL CLOTHES. Shuffling through the rack, Ino pulls out something like this only it's lavender.]

You should go with something like this instead! It's cute, practical and I'm sure Naruto will love it. [Okay, she's not sure about the last one but come on a guy would be an idiot if he doesn't like Hinata in this top.]

[She is flushed totally.]

I-I....[She turns towards the racks and pulls out another shirt, in sky blue.] Th-this...?

[Please, Ino, no torturing her. Baby steps, right?]

[Oh, not a bad pick, Hinata. Not baaaad.]

That one actually looks good! [Yeah, at least it's an obvious improvement from that.... ~~monstrosity~~ dress earlier.] Hey, wait a minute, I think I found something cute a while ago.

[Ino goes back to the racks again. It's plenty evident that Hinata's a more conservative type of girl but she doesn't have to wear shitty conservative clothes okok. If she doesn't like sleeveless, backless and anything-less type of clothing, well, Ino can just help her don more fashionable conservative outfits.

Done with her search, she offers this white top to her.]

How about this one, too? I think the ribbon's a really nice touch!

[Hinata stares at her friend's choice. It is cute, but the exposed shoulders make her a little uncomfortable.

However, a dress catches her eye, in midnight black. She picks it from the rack and shows it to the other girl.]

I-I think that this is, um, nice.

[And despite the blush that won't go away, Hinata's actually having fun.]

Yeah, it is.

[She nods but it still looks boring to her. Briefly grabbing the next top, Ino shows it to her comrade.]

But if you're going for sleeves, at least this also looks great.

[Hinata will admit that the lace and ribbons are cute and that she might wear it over something, but...]

I-Ino-san, this is...sheer. I cannot...It would be...It cannot be worn by itself? Perhaps over the dress?

Over an undershirt, maybe. [A sleeveless undershirt.] If it's over the dress, you might as well wear a coat over it too while you're at it. [She's teaching you how to look conservative by wearing less okay.]

[Ino, Hinata's from an extremely conservative clan. It's going to take a lot of time to get her to relax around clothing.

As it is, she's just looking a little stunned.]

O-oh...I-I do like this...um...I just...it needs something else.

Well, if you're partial about that, how about...

[Turns around and shuffles through the rack again. After a short search, Ino comes back with this ensemble.]

This top and skirt?

[Yes, Hinata can live with that. It is cute enough while being practical and proper.]

Yes, I-I like that. [Stares at the top she picked out at the beginning (not the dress, Ino!) and sighs.] I would still like to have this as well.

[THEY FINALLY AGREED ON SOMETHING LMAO]

Good! [At her next words, though, Ino just gives her an amused smile.] As long as you wear these ones then it's okay. But don't think I won't search for more fashionable yet proper clothes for you because I will.

[Yes, it's progress~! They finally understand each other!!!!]

A-ah, thank you, Ino-san. I am grateful for your assistance.

[She might even remember to ask you for your help the next time she wants more clothes.]

[SHE BETTER because if Hinata doesn't remember asking for help, Ino will make sure she does!!]

Oh, no need for thanks! I'm just glad I can help. Every girl needs to look their best, after all. [Like her!]

[She couldn't disagree with that. Kurenai-sensei had mentioned that Hinata should change a few things about her looks to get Naruto-kun's attention, but what Kurenai-sensei and Ino-san wore... Hinata would never be comfortable in those clothes.

However, she wouldn't deny the assistance now that she and Ino-san had actually established some boundaries in the clothes that Hinata would wear.]

Is there anything else that I would need that I do not?

[Woefully unprepared, Ino... She got dragged from a war, okay?]

[She taps her chin with her point finger in thought. That's a pretty interesting question and while Ino's tempted to say "a better fashion sense" she doesn't want to come off like she's reprimanding the other girl.

So, while still racking her mind for what to answer, she goes for what's simpler.]

Well, obviously, you need me when you go pick out clothes the next time. We can bring Sakura along. Or even Tenten when she's not busy shopping for weapons instead.

[Sounds like a deal, Hinata?]

[She smiles as she remembers the night that the four of them and Shiho went out before the war. She couldn't remember a time when she'd had so much fun with the other girls. Even after Tsunade-sama showed up.]

I-I would like that.

[She hasn't lived that part yet. However, Ino will be happy if she knows that actually happened.]

Then, it sounds like a plan!
