Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?

o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[Way to guilt trip him. Now Giru feels kind of bad.

He beeps a few times, and those hold a sad tone- he didn't know he needed them to see. Trunks has glasses too but he doesn't actually need them.]

Giru find glasses! giru giru giru. Locking on to position of frequency from journal! [And off he goes! He'll meet up with Barnaby wherever he currently is.]

[Just as planned.

Barnaby wasn't completely blind without his glasses, but identifying any details from a reasonable distance was irritating and a cause for eyestrain at best. Using his Hundred Power would have been the easiest solution, as it would correct any problems and enhance his speed, but there was always the off chance that he would need them later on. It was a waste to use them so frivolously.

He was in the back of Seventh Heaven with a glass of iced tea, as he had been for the last half an hour. He only blinked at Giru's arrival.]

Hm. Impressive speed.

[He floats in, finding Barnaby in the back. But he's wary. He doesn't know if Barnaby means him any harm or not, so he beeps nervously as he approaches him. He did, however, eat his glasses, and had he been back at home he would have received quite the beating from Pan, so hopefully that won't happen now. If it does he is so out of there.]

giru giru. Giru not built for speed. [But ok, that was nice enough for the guy to say. Still doesn't mean Giru isn't any more nervous.] Come, follow Giru, take to shops, get glasses. [The tiny little bot is about no taller than a foot, maybe even less, so he's hovering in front of Barnaby instead of standing on the ground. And honestly, the faster they get the glasses the better. Because he's pretty sure he's in trouble and he wants to avoid any abuse that could be coming his way.]

[Barnaby regarded the small robot and had to admit that he was impressed with the skill involved in Giru's development. As irritating as he was, Giru was still something that his parents would be impressed with. It was enough for Barnaby to hold his tongue, at least for the moment.]

Any speed is fine. You did arrive, after all.

[He snapped his journal closed and joined Giru. As irritated as he was, there was no reason to physically punish Giru for this-- especially when other factors were put into play. Robots were meant to help people, and Giru wasn't likely to be too different.]

Please, lead the way. I'd like to find them before nightfall.

giru giru giru giru giru giru [He makes his way out, and heads to the square with Barnaby in tow- he's not getting near him however. Friends would result in this little robot on their shoulder but he's far too worried to get close.

Giru stops in front of one of the first shops he saw in his quest for food. He didn't find anything in this particular shop because it's the flower shop. So Giru heads right in to take a look around.]

You keep saying that word. [Barnaby followed the little machine into the flower shop and kept his annoyance over the blossoming colors and lack of detail in check. Instead he kept track of Giru's location, and stayed alert for any sign of a person.]
